Chapter 30: Chapter 30: General’s Mansion Eldest Lady VS Transmigrated Younger Sister (Part 29)

Ji Yu’s hands had never trembled like that before; there was a mont when he felt as if his entire world was about to collapse.

The color had drained from the face of the woman in his arms due to blood loss, yet she still strove to maintain a smile. Gu Shengyin felt a bit dizzy; she exerted so effort to look at Ji Yu and suddenly rembered she had sothing yet to tell him.

“Have I ever told you that my heart is delighted…” Ji Yu suddenly raised his hand to stop Gu Shengyin’s words, “Don’t speak now.”

He buried his head in Gu Shengyin’s neck, not letting anyone see his face, “Wait until you have recovered, then tell in person.”

At that mont Gu Shengyin felt sowhat faint, and she didn’t respond to Ji Yu, slipping into unconsciousness the next mont.

Eldest Princess Wen Cheng nearly fainted at the sight of her daughter hovering between life and death.

Her voice trembling, she sought out a servant to take the Commandery Princess to the Imperial Physician when she unexpectedly saw Ji Yu suddenly rise to his feet and carefully lift Gu Shengyin into his arms.

“What are you doing?” asked the Eldest Princess Wen Cheng.

“Straight to the palace; there’s no ti to waste,” Ji Yu said without another word and began to walk away.

When Gu Shengyin regained consciousness, she was disoriented and didn’t know what ti it was. She didn’t know how long she had slept, only feeling weak and devoid of strength throughout her body.

“System,” Gu Shengyin called out in her mind, “where am I now?”

She was sowhat afraid, afraid that she was in the initial space where she had first woken up.

She admitted to herself that she was sowhat reluctant to leave, to leave the Eldest Princess Wen Cheng, to leave the Great General and also… to leave Ji Yu.

“Host is in the mission world and has been in a coma for six days. The Host is advised to wake up as soon as possible; otherwise, the mission will be difficult to complete,” ca the Host’s voice.

The System felt sowhat responsible, for it hadn’t warned the Host in ti, leading to her injury; it resolved to strive harder in the future to beco a more responsible System.

Gu Shengyin opened her eyes, and everything she saw was a bit unfamiliar.

This wasn’t her room, nor any place in the Grand General’s Mansion.

“Has the Commandery Princess awakened?” ca an excited voice.

Gu Shengyin looked carefully and saw a palace maiden dressed in light green. From her attire, Gu Shengyin knew that she was in the palace.

The palace maiden nad Huanhuan approached joyfully with a cup of tea for Gu Shengyin. The tea, warm to the touch, seed to have been kept ready at all tis.

Another palace maiden hurried out of the room.

“Are you feeling unwell, Commandery Princess? Would you like so food?” the palace maiden in green asked.

Gu Shengyin shook her head slightly; she just felt extrely fatigued.

Soon, a figure lifted the curtain and entered; slling the familiar scent of lotus, Gu Shengyin knew it was Ji Yu.

“Ah Zhen!” Ji Yu’s eyes were bright. God knows how much he wished to stay by his beloved’s side and watch her wake up, but he couldn’t.

He couldn’t let others, especially his father the Emperor, know how deeply he cared for her.

That person was the epito of an emperor and would absolutely not allow his favored heir to be so influenced by a woman to such an extent.

The ti they had to pour out their hearts to each other was not long, for the Eldest Princess Wen Cheng and the Great General arrived quickly.

Upon learning from the Imperial Physician that her daughter was out of danger and only needed to rest, the Eldest Princess Wen Cheng, without a word, took Gu Shengyin back to the Grand General’s Mansion.

Gu Shengyin blinked at Ji Yu.

Back in the mansion, Gu Shengyin was provided daily with various nourishing items, taking ti out to inquire about the current situation from the System.

The System answered in detail.

The evidence concerning the Crown Prince’s factionalism and selfish scheming that Gu Shengyin had provided indeed outraged the Emperor. The most taboo for a ruler is to have others asleep at their bedside; in the Emperor’s eyes, this incident was far more serious than poisoning the Forr Empress.

The Crown Prince had already been deposed.
