Chapter 531: Chapter 531: Cute Childhood Sweetheart VS Gorgeous New Love (Part 21)
When Huang Anyuan’s dad received a call from his son’s teacher about his son being in an early romance, he was sowhat dismissive at first.
How could they, as parents, not see the relationship between their son and Xuanxuan? They were both pleased with Xuanxuan, who had good grades and a sweet temperant.
But since his son’s teacher had called, it seed better to go and see what the matter was.
However, upon arriving at the school and hearing the teacher out, Father Huang realized that sothing was very off about the girl involved with his son in the alleged early romance.
“Excuse , teacher, may I ask who the girl is in this relationship with our Anyuan…?”
Huang Anyuan’s class advisor adjusted his glasses and cleared his throat, “It’s a junior girl, I’m sorry Mr. Huang, but we cannot disclose student information.”
A junior? Then it was not Xuanxuan!
This damn kid!
The one thing Father Huang wanted to do at that mont was to pull off his belt and give his son a good thrashing.
When Huang Anyuan went to school the next day, there was sothing odd about the way he walked.
Qing Luochen, it was said, had taken a week’s leave of absence.
When Gu Shengyin got ho that evening, she could tell that Mother Chang and Father Chang were not in a good mood.
After a mont of thought, Gu Shengyin guessed that the Huang family had probably paid a visit.
Since the two of them hadn’t brought it up, of course, Shengyin wasn’t going to ntion it herself.
After finishing dinner and sitting in the living room watching the news, Mother Chang finally couldn’t hold back any longer as she brought over so sliced fruit.
“Xuanxuan, you and Anyuan, that child…” Mother Chang started to say sothing but stopped. As parents, they were well aware of the situation between the two children, but it had never been openly discussed.
Gu Shengyin picked up a piece of apple, taking a bite. It was sweet and juicy.
After swallowing her apple, she finally spoke up, “I know mom and dad were aware of my thing with him, but all that is in the past now. Don’t worry, I’m going to focus on my studies from now on and won’t think about that sort of thing again.”
Father and Mother Chang exchanged looks.
They were concerned that their daughter was heartbroken over the situation, but now it seed as if she was explaining to them instead.
Seeing her deanor, which didn’t seem too distressed, they felt relieved. Perhaps their daughter was too young to really understand romantic feelings.
“We have nothing else to say, just that, Xuanxuan, if you ever feel wronged outside, do not keep it to yourself. Talk to us, understand?” said Father Chang.
Father Chang didn’t communicate much with his daughter regularly, but Gu Shengyin knew that when it ca to doting on his daughter, he wasn’t one bit less than Mother Chang.
“Got it,” said Gu Shengyin with a beaming smile. “I’m so adorable, others wouldn’t be able to resist , let alone want to mistreat , right?”
Mother Chang laughed, “You’re such a big girl now, yet you’re not shy at all.”
With no psychological burden, Gu Shengyin now lightheartedly said, “I’m just speaking the truth.”
While the Chang family was enjoying their harmonious mont, the atmosphere at Huang Anyuan’s ho hadn’t been so great for a few days.
After returning ho from the school that day, Father Huang spoke to his wife about what had happened.
Mrs. Huang knew about her son’s relationship with Xuanxuan and held no objections to Xuanxuan being their future daughter-in-law.
However, the fact that their son had abruptly broken up with Xuanxuan and was involved in early romance shocked them?
After pressing their son, they learned that he had been the one to “double-cross.”
Although the situation was caused by their own son, and realizing that the match with the Chang family was not going to happen, they couldn’t abandon the years of friendship between the two families.
After visiting the Chang family, the cold reception they received confird their expectations.
Even though Father and Mother Huang were angry with their son, they were more resentful toward Qing Luochen for “seducing” their son.
