“What do you want to do?” Gu Shengyin suddenly softened her tone.
A look of smug satisfaction appeared on Old Master Yan’s face. This eldest daughter, no matter how stubborn, wasn’t she still obedient under his control?

The usually obedient Madam Yan, however, did not heed him this ti but said somberly, “I only have Ruohua as a child; she is my life. Seeing her mother beco sowhat emotional, Gu Shengyin quickly tried to soothe her, “Mother, don’t be upset, rest assured, I won’t marry. Ruohua will be fine, always staying with mother.”
Madam Yan looked at her daughter, who was anxiously comforting her, and then at Old Master Yan, who was coldly watching them, feeling sothing in her heart ready to burst forth.
“I would rather die than let my Ruohua marry into the Li family. Old Master, you want to divorce your wife? Then go ahead!”
“Fine, fine, fine! Both of you mother and daughter, trying to overturn heaven, eh! You want to divorce my wife, I’ll grant your wish!” Old Master Yan, his pride wounded by his wife, felt a surge of anger in his heart.
