She even thought maliciously: “Look at this, Second Prince. You ignore my true feelings for you, and now your devotion ans nothing in the eyes of Veronica. Isn’t this what the Priest would call karma?”
Gu Shengyin didn’t understand why Joanna’s mood seed to brighten instantly, but it was a good thing either way.

He was standing there, smiling gently as he chatted with others.
That face was one Gu Shengyin could draw with her eyes closed—it belonged to Ji Yu from her first world.
Seeing that sothing seed off with Gu Shengyin, Joanna followed her gaze and revealed a knowing smile.
“That is Lord Lin Qi, Legion Commander of the Holy Alliance, quite a charming gentleman…”
Before she could finish, Gu Shengyin had already risen and was heading in that direction.
