Now reading: Chapter 1044 Plan C For Chaos from Timeless Assassin, a Action novel by RajShah7152.

(anwhile, Kaelith's POV, Planet Helion-6)

From a short distance away from the heart of the battlefield, Kaelith observed the clash unfolding across the shattered plains, his expression calm and unreadable as the violent storm of divine power continued erupting between Mauriss and the other five Gods.

The battlefield had already beco sothing barely recognizable, as every collision between their attacks bent the air and distorted gravity while the continent itself trembled under the weight of their presence, mountains collapsing in the distance as stray pressure waves rolled across the horizon like invisible tidal forces.

And yet through all of that chaos, Kaelith barely made a move.

Instead, he kept tracking the fight from a safe distance, while occasionally lifting a hand to release a precise long-distance strike toward Mauriss, as he pretended to help more than actually helping. 'Yeah, there's no way in hell I'm jumping straight into that chaos....

Kaelith thought, as he barely suppressed a smile.

There was a logical reason behind his restraint.

Because if there was one lesson Kaelith had learned during his previous clash with Soron, it was that recklessly charging toward an enemy God wielding an Origin Dagger was the fastest way to lose far more than just a battle.

Origin weapons were different.

They did not rely wound the body, they carved into the very essence of existence itself, and Kaelith had already paid the price of underestimating that truth once before.

Which was why he had no intention of repeating that mistake again. And so while the other Great Clan Gods pressed Mauriss relentlessly

from every direction, their combined assault forcing the Deceiver to constantly retreat and evade under the pressure of their coordinated attacks, Kaelith remained slightly removed from the center of the storm as he watched the flow of the battle with cold calculation.

Occasionally his fingers flicked outward as another distant strike tore across the battlefield, a blade of condensed pressure or a ripple of distorted space streaking toward Mauriss while the other Gods continued hamring at him from close range.

As from where he stood, the pattern of the fight was becoming increasingly clear.

Mauriss was fast.

Faster than all five Great Clan Gods individually.

But speed alone was not enough when surrounded on all sides.

"Hm," Kaelith murmured quietly to himself as another distant explosion shook the plains while Lu Han's strike forced Mauriss backward once again.

"Not bad."

He tilted his head slightly as he continued studying the clash unfolding across the ruined continent.

"This is going a lot smoother than I expected."

From his vantage point, the advantage of numbers was becoming increasingly obvious as the five Gods rotated their attacks in tight succession, never allowing Mauriss more than a fraction of a mont to stabilize before the next strike arrived.

"The numbers advantage is definitely working on him," Kaelith muttered calmly.

"At this rate..."

His gaze narrowed slightly.

"...I don't think Mauriss will be leaving this planet alive."

And yet despite the apparent advantage, Kaelith remained cautious.

Because although the battle seed to be unfolding exactly as they had planned, he knew better than most that the Deceiver was not the kind of opponent one could afford to underestimate.

Mauriss had thrived in this universe this long for a reason.

And if Kaelith knew anything about him, it was that he never ca into a fight without a couple surprises prepared.

(anwhile, Moltherak's POV)

Kaelith wasn't wrong to assu that Mauriss was never going to arrive on Helion-6 without surprises.

However, even in his wildest imagination, he could never have guessed what that surprise might actually be.

Because what the Deceiver had done this ti was utterly insane.

He had invited Moltherak.

A couple days earlier, the mont Mauriss had decided to personally investigate the gathering on Helion-6, he had already begun setting another piece of his plan into motion, sending a very specific ssage toward one of the most dangerous beings still wandering the

universe.

The letter had been short.

Blunt.

And deliberately insulting.

As alongside a set of precise spatial coordinates and a countdown tir marking the exact mont when the events on Helion-6 would reach their peak, Mauriss had included a single line of text.

[ If you want the fight of a lifeti, be here at this mont, at this

ti.

Unless you are too chicken to show up...

And not a real dragon.]

It was obvious bait.

The kind that any sensible warrior would ignore.

However, Moltherak was not known for being sensible.

He was known for being proud.

And pride, when combined with the arrogance of dragons, was a

dangerous thing.

Which was exactly why Mauriss had been certain the bait would

work.

And it did.

Because the mont the countdown reached zero-

A fourth-dinsional spatial portal tore open across the skies above

Helion-6.

Space itself folded inward as the heavens cracked apart, and from within that distortion a single figure stepped forward calmly.

Moltherak.

Or rather...

Moltherak in Helmuth's body.

Golden eyes burned like molten tal beneath the storm clouds as

red veins crawled across the skin of the host body, Helmuth's once human appearance twisting slightly under the overwhelming presence now inhabiting it, as the hair turned wild and spiked while the aura radiating from him carried the unmistakable ferocity of sothing far older than humanity.

For a mont he simply hovered there above the battlefield, his gaze drifting across the ruined continent where six Gods were currently

attempting to tear Mauriss apart.

Then Moltherak laughed.

"Whoa!"

He stretched his arms slightly as he looked down at the chaotic

battlefield beneath him.

"When I received that letter, I thought it might be a childish prank."

His grin widened.

"However..."

"...it looks like there really is a party going on here."

"Huahaha!"

Moltherak's laughter rolled across the sky like thunder as his

presence settled over the battlefield.

Below him, the reactions were imdiate.

All five Great Clan Gods froze.

Even Kaelith's calm expression shifted slightly as his eyes lifted

toward the sky.

Horror.

Shock.

Disbelief.

Because the last being any of them had expected to see here...

Had just arrived.

Only Mauriss seed unsurprised.

As standing in the center of the battlefield with blood on his lips and

six enemies around him, the Deceiver simply glanced upward toward the sky, a faint smile forming on his face as he watched Moltherak

descend.

Because at that mont, he knew sothing the others did not.

His ticket out of this situation...

Had finally arrived. "НАНАНАНА--"

He laughed right back, as while to the others, the entry of Moltherak

looked like just another variable that added chaos to an already

chaotic battlefield.

What the others did not understand was that, for Mauriss.....

Chaos was the plan all along.

(anwhile Leo)

Leo arrived on Granada believing the mission would be simple.

In his mind, the entire operation had been calculated down to a matter of seconds, as he intended to slip onto the ocean world, collect a portion of the divine waters hidden within its endless seas, and leave before anyone even realized that an intruder had stepped

foot on the planet.

A clean raid.

In and out. No witnesses.

No complications.

At most, the entire mission should have taken only a few breaths.

However, the mont Leo stepped out of the Fourth Dinsional Portal and hovered above Granada's storm-covered ocean, sothing imdiately felt wrong.

The dark waters stretched endlessly beneath him while lightning

rolled across the distant horizon, rain pouring across the planet in violent sheets as the chaotic world roared beneath the sky.

For a brief mont Leo simply floated there.

Then-

Two presences locked onto him instantly, as Leo's eyes widened in

shock.

"Huh?"

The word slipped out of his mouth almost instinctively as his senses

swept across the planet again, carefully scanning the area just to make sure he was not imagining things. Because although Leo had prepared himself for many possibilities,

including the chance that Mauriss might sohow return earlier than expected...

What he never anticipated seeing here-

Were two Demi-God tier auras already stationed on Granada.

Leo blinked once.

Then again.

"... You've got to be kidding ."

Below him, standing on the lone rock rising from Granada's endless

ocean, Clarence and Terrence had also frozen in place the mont

Leo appeared.

For a brief mont, both sides simply stared at each other.

Confusion hung in the air.

Because just like Leo had not expected to find defenders on Granada

Clarence and Terrence had definitely not expected the Cult Master to suddenly step out of a Fourth Dinsional Portal above their heads.

Several seconds passed. Nobody moved.

Then Clarence's face twisted with rage.

"YOU CULT MOTHERFU-!"

The curse erupted from his mouth as both Demi-God warriors

exploded into motion at the sa ti, their bodies tearing through

the storm as they shot upward toward Leo like two furious teors.

The distance between them shrank instantly. Lightning cracked across the sky as their killing intent surged outward, the surrounding space trembling under the sudden pressure of their auras.

Leo watched them approach.

Fast.

Far too fast.

"...Uh oh."

The words left his mouth quietly as his expression stiffened slightly.

Because in that mont Leo realized just how badly he was screwed.
