(anwhile, Moltherak's POV)

The mont Moltherak revealed the Origin tal coated dragon teeth, the atmosphere across his side of the battlefield changed instantly.

Ru Vassa saw them first.

Her eyes lingered on the curved fangs in Moltherak's hands only for a fraction of a second, before she decided that enough was enough.

"No...."

She muttered while rubbing the back of her neck, as she was

reminded of the mont where Mauriss had nearly taken her head, and far older mories still, as she recalled how dominant Soron had been against the Righteous Alliance, even when he was outnumbered eight to one.

*HUFF-*

Ru Vassa inhaled slowly.

Then exhaled.

"No chance..."

She said flatly as she lowered her magical spear and shook her head.

"I'm sorry Kaelith, however, I want absolutely no part of this..."

Ru Vassa expressed as she flicked a glance toward Kaelith while subtly shifting her stance backward.

"I've already been burnt once by an opponent holding an Origin Blade..... And I'm not particularly interested in learning that sa lesson twice."

She concluded, as Moltherak's grin widened.

"Oh?"

Moltherak said as he casually spun the dragon fangs between his fingers while watching her reaction with visible amusent.

"What happened, little lady?"

"I thought you were going to teach a lesson."

Moltherak said as his golden eyes glead with mockery.

Ru Vassa visibly winced.

Because the words he repeated were almost exactly the sa ones she had thrown at him earlier.

However, despite the humiliation burning across her expression, she did not change her decision.

"Life is long," Ru Vassa said as she forced herself to et Moltherak's gaze again.

"I will teach you that lesson one day," Ru Vassa said as she took another slow step backward.

"Just clearly not today!"

Mu Shen chuckled quietly behind her.

"Sa," Mu Shen said as he rolled his shoulders slightly while also stepping back from Moltherak's imdiate range.

"The Deceiver has already escaped," Mu Shen said as he glanced toward the fractured sky where Mauriss had vanished monts

earlier.

"There is no point continuing this fight today," Mu Shen said calmly as he turned his attention toward Kaelith.

"So my advice would be to leave for now and settle this matter another day."

Kaelith did not answer imdiately.

Instead his eyes slowly drifted across the battlefield, towards the

distant figures of Lu Han, Du Trask and Yu Kiro.

The three of them did not speak.

However, the ssage they passed was clear.

Lu Han gave a subtle nod.

Yu Kiro crossed his arms.

Du Trask shrugged slightly.

None of them had any desire to continue fighting Moltherak under

the current circumstances.

And hence, Kaelith felt forced to exhale slowly.

"... Very well," Kaelith said quietly as the invisible pressure of [Eternal

Suppression] faded from around Moltherak's body.

"I guess then this battlefield no longer serves a purpose."

He declared, as Moltherak instantly burst into loud laughter.

"НАНАНАНА!"

"What happened?" Moltherak said mockingly as he pointed one of the dragon fangs toward Kaelith.

"You have the guts to destroy Ixtal, even though you knew the Cult is

under my protection!

But you don't have the guts to fight when I co to your face?"

Moltherak mocked as he leaned forward slightly.

"Oh almighty Eternal Sovereign? Son of Tiless Assassin?"

Kaelith clenched his jaw.

But said nothing.

Instead he simply raised one hand as the space behind him cracked

open.

*CRRRKK*

A Fourth Dinsional Portal tore through reality.

"Yes I am the son of the Tiless Assassin.

And I am also the one who slayed him.

Don't test my patience, Old Dragon.

You never know when you might reach the end of the rope!"

Kaelith warned before vanishing, as Mu Shen and Ru Vassa followed

almost imdiately.

"Until next ti, Dragon King,"

Mu Shen said as he stepped backward into the portal.

Lu Han left next.

Then Yu Kiro.

Then Du Trask.

One after another, the Gods of the Righteous Alliance disappeared

from the battlefield as the fractured continent slowly fell silent again.

Leaving only Moltherak behind.

"Yeah, yeah...."

Moltherak said as he waved one of the Origin fangs casually.

"Keep running, boy."

He muttered, as he smirked a smug smile.

"Just because we are all Gods...."

"Doesn't make any of you my equal."

Moltherak said as his golden eyes burned with ancient arrogance.

"For I have no equal."

Moltherak declared as he raised both Origin-coated fangs toward the

sky.

"The Dragon King is the new ruler of this universe."

(anwhile, Mauriss)

The dinsional corridor collapsed behind Mauriss as he stepped back into real space, the violent turbulence of the battlefield on Helion-6 fading away while the endless storm of Granada's ocean greeted him once again.

Rain hamred the dark waters below.

Lightning rolled across the horizon.

For a brief mont Mauriss simply hovered above the ocean,

breathing slowly while the lingering pain of the battle still pulsed faintly through his body.

Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.

One side of his face had swollen slightly from the earlier blows.

And the pressure of three Gods attacking in perfect coordination had left his ribs aching in ways he had not experienced in a very long ti.

*Drip*

*Drip*

He bled, when suddenly two figures shot toward him from a distance.

Clarence.

Terrence.

The two Demi-God guardians arrived almost instantly, however the

expressions on their faces looked just as disturbed as Mauriss himself

appeared.

"My lord-!" Clarence said as he slowed abruptly in front of him.

"Are you alright?" Clarence asked as his eyes widened slightly while

taking in Mauriss's injured appearance.

Terrence looked equally alard.

Because seeing the Deceiver in a battered state was not sothing

either of them had expected.

Mauriss blinked once.

Then suddenly seed to realize sothing.

"Oh."

He glanced down at the blood on his hand.

Then casually snapped his fingers.

*Snap* Reality flickered.

The swelling vanished.

The blood evaporated.

The faint cracks in his ribs sealed themselves instantly as the lingering

injuries from the battle disappeared like they had never existed.

Mauriss rolled his shoulders once as though testing the result.

"Of course I am," Mauriss said casually as though the entire situation had been a minor inconvenience.

Then his eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at the two n again.

Because sothing about their posture imdiately caught his attention.

Both of them were tense.

Both of them were sweating.

And the air around Granada carried faint traces of sothing very

familiar.

Divine energy.

As Mauriss tilted his head in shock.

"But why are you two sweating?" Mauriss asked curiously as he slowly

scanned the storm-filled sky above the ocean.

His senses spread outward.

The traces were faint.

But unmistakable.

"What happened here?" Mauriss asked as his gaze returned to the two

Demi-Gods.

"Why do I sense traces of divine energy in the atmosphere?"

For a brief mont Clarence and Terrence exchanged a glance.

Then Clarence stepped forward slightly.

"It was the new Cult Master, my lord," Clarence said as his voice carried both anger and disbelief.

"He ca here during your absence."

Mauriss's eyes sharpened instantly.

"Oh?"

Clarence nodded.

"Yes, my lord," Clarence said as he pointed faintly toward the distant

ocean.

"We do not know exactly why he ca here," Clarence said carefully.

"But based on the timing of his appearance..." Clarence hesitated briefly.

"...we believe Leo Skyshard intended to steal the holy water."

For a brief mont Mauriss simply stared at him.

Then slowly...

His expression began to change.

The irritation from the earlier battle vanished.

The exhaustion faded.

And in its place-

A slow smile crept across his face, as his eyes glead with sudden

interest.

"Oh?" Mauriss murmured softly.

As to him, this was definitely extrely interesting news.
