(Within The Fourth Dinsion, Leo's POV)
For Leo, fighting Kaelith felt strangely similar to fighting another version of himself, because at their core, both of them belonged to the exact sa breed of warrior.
Both fought primarily using dual daggers.
Both inherited the sa foundational combat philosophy from the Cult Of Ascension.
And both relied far more heavily on speed, precision, timing, and lethal efficiency rather than brute strength or overwhelming aggression to win battles.
Which was precisely why, the mont Leo decided this fight needed to end imdiately, he also knew the exact approach he needed to take to have a maximum chance of success.
As if the roles were reversed, this thod was precisely how he would plot to kill himself.
"Veyr," Leo muttered calmly, as he briefly glanced toward the Dragon beside him while another clash erupted across the battlefield.
"I think it's ti we use the sa strategy we used against Yu Kiro."
Leo said, as he talked without giving any explicit hints, so as to keep Kaelith in the dark, while Veyr still imdiately understood what he ant.
"Oh…. Okay!"
Veyr replied, as a grin slowly spread across his face.
"So it's finally THAT ti, huh?"
Veyr muttered, as excitent flickered visibly across his eyes, as he turned towards Dumpy.
"Oi, frog…"
Veyr called out while tightening his grip around his sword.
"It's ti to do your magic."
His expression darkened afterward.
"It's ti to avenge the Smoking Man properly."
