Jin Jumo walked into the bedroom and saw soone standing on the balcony, tall and clear against the doorfra.
Jin Jumo walked over, passed her hands through his narrow waist corset, hugged him, and pressed her face against his broad back, silent.
At the mont she hugged him, Rong Mochen’s deep eyes seed to narrow slightly. He lowered his eyes to look at her hands wrapped around his abdon and eventually reached out to hold them.
Jin Jumo was pulled by him to stand in front of him, her back pressed against the balcony’s carved railing, looking up at him.
Rong Mochen stared at her sowhat nervous little face and slowly lowered his head.
As soon as their lips t, both of their breaths trembled slightly.
Jin Jumo gently closed her long lashes, tiptoeing to et him.
Every inch of gaze made Jin Jumo feel nervous and at a loss, her pink lips trembling lightly, "Rong Mochen, what, what’s wrong with you today? Don’t scare ."
Rong Mochen’s dark eyes flashed lightly, he leaned down to kiss her brow gently, his voice low and warm, "Don’t overthink, I’m fine."
Jin Jumo slightly propped herself up but was gently pressed back by his hand holding one shoulder.
Jin Jumo held her breath, her peach blossom eyes tightly fixed on him.
Rong Mochen lowered his head and began to kiss her.
As the words fell, Jin Jumo felt a lightness on her body, and the man quickly dashed into the bathroom.
On Saturday morning, Jin Jumo spent a great effort to coax Xixi and Hanhan out of bed. While they were having breakfast, she received a call from Mu Qinnian.
"Brother." Jin Jumo said softly.
"At ho?" Mu Qinnian asked briefly.
"Yeah, I’m here." Jin Jumo said as she pulled out a tissue to wipe cream from Xixi’s mouth.
"I’m downstairs, bring the kids down. I’ll take you all out." Mu Qinnian’s voice was soft and smiling.
Jin Jumo was slightly surprised, "You’re downstairs?"
"Yeah, I’ve been here a while." Mu Qinnian said.
"Then I’ll bring Xixi and Hanhan down imdiately, wait for a bit, brother." Jin Jumo said, hanging up the call hurriedly.
Xixi and Hanhan looked at Jin Jumo puzzled.
Jin Jumo didn’t have ti to explain, changed the two little ones’ clothes, and went out the door.
Jin Jumo walked out of the apartnt building with Xixi and Hanhan, and saw Mu Qinnian leaning lazily against the car from afar, with his long legs casually crossed, his deep and cold eyes covered by sunglasses, hiding his emotions, though the corners of his mouth curved up, showing a pleasant mood.
Jin Jumo’s face lit up with a smile, about to call out to him.
A figure suddenly darted in front of her.
"Ah..."
Xixi was startled, instinctively hiding behind Jin Jumo.
Hanhan was also taken aback, his bright black eyes cautiously watching the woman who suddenly appeared before them.
Mu Qinnian saw the situation, stood straight imdiately, and stepped over.
Jin Jumo was slightly stunned. When she saw the person in front of her clearly, her peach blossom eyes cooled slightly, staring at her.
"Momo." the woman called her timidly.
Jin Jumo frowned, sweeping her gaze over to see Mu Qinnian walking over, her peach blossom eyes narrowed slightly, saying to the woman in front of her, "Ms. Liang, if I were you, the first thing I’d do now is leave."
Liang Yi looked mournful, "Momo..."
"Little Mo, what’s going on?" Mu Qinnian appeared like a protector beside Jin Jumo, pulling her to his back with one arm, staring coldly at Liang Yi behind his sunglasses.
Jin Jumo glanced at the stunned Liang Yi, her eyes narrowed, and told Mu Qinnian softly, "Nothing, brother, let’s go."
Mu Qinnian continued to stare at Liang Yi, his thin lips suddenly curling into a faint smile, he turned his head to look softly at Jin Jumo, "Okay."
Jin Jumo picked up Xixi and handed her to Mu Qinnian.
As soon as Mu Qinnian saw the chubby little dumpling in Jin Jumo’s arms, his cold face softened quickly as he carefully took Xixi.
Perhaps having never held a child before, Mu Qinnian’s movents appeared slightly clumsy.
Xixi blinked her big eyes curiously at Mu Qinnian.
Mu Qinnian paused, not very skillfully stretching out his hand to pinch Xixi’s chubby little hand, holding her and walking forward.
Jin Jumo didn’t look at Liang Yi, pulling Hanhan along as they followed behind Mu Qinnian.
Liang Yi’s gaze shifted with Mu Qinnian, her expression growing increasingly stiff.
Seated in the car, Jin Jumo glanced at Liang Yi, seeing her still staring this way, her expression even from a distance showing a faint pallor and panic.
"Mommy, who is this uncle? Xixi hasn’t seen him before." Xixi’s crisp voice ca from the back seat.
Jin Jumo turned her gaze, resting her eyes a mont on Mu Qinnian’s defined profile, then looked back at Xixi saying, "He is Mommy’s brother and Xixi and Hanhan’s uncle."
"Uncle?" Xixi was surprised, staring at the back of Mu Qinnian’s head.
Mu Qinnian took off his sunglasses, his deep eyes carrying a soft smile looking at Xixi and Hanhan through the rearview mirror, "Yes, I am your uncle."
Xixi felt that there hadn’t been any new stories lately, except for recognizing relatives.
First it was daddy, then several uncles, then the elder uncle, now it’s uncle...
Xixi dumbly scratched her head, gazing at Mu Qinnian.
Mu Qinnian’s eyes filled with more laughter, "Today, uncle will take Xixi and Hanhan to the the zoo, okay?"
Xixi nodded; as long as it’s fun, she can go anywhere, "Uncle, you’re mommy’s brother; why don’t you live with mommy? My brother and I are always together."
Children’s words, though childish, are sowhat poignant to Mu Qinnian and Jin Jumo.
Mu Qinnian gazed deeply at Jin Jumo, his lips curling, "From now on, uncle will always be with you."
Jin Jumo smiled, thinking he was just humoring the children, not taking it seriously.
Xixi obediently reached out her chubby hand to hold her brother’s, grinning like a cat and saying, "I want to always be with brother too."
Hanhan’s little mouth twitched slightly, but his expression showed disdain as he pulled his hand away, "Who wants to be with you all the ti?!"
Xixi, "Uh..."
Suddenly feeling deeply wounded, her fair little face scrunched into a little bun, she glared at Hanhan indignantly, turning her little head aside in anger, deciding she wouldn’t care for him again!
Mu Qinnian and Jin Jumo watched the two little ones’ awkward yet endearingly warm interaction, feeling envious of them.
If they had grown up together, would they be like Xixi and Hanhan, arguing yet inseparable?
At four in the afternoon, Mu Qinnian returned Jin Jumo and the two little ones to the apartnt.
Downstairs, Jin Jumo held onto Xixi and Hanhan on the roadside, watching Mu Qinnian’s car drive away, slowly letting the smile at her lips fade, coldly looking towards Liang Yi standing behind a nearby tree.
Liang Yi didn’t hide this ti, stepping out from behind the tree, looking towards Jin Jumo from afar, her gaze mournful.
Jin Jumo pressed her lips tight, withdrawing her gaze, taking Xixi and Hanhan by the hand, turning towards the apartnt building.
"Momo."
Liang Yi’s anxious voice called from the side, "Wait."
Xixi and Hanhan turned to look at Liang Yi, recognizing her as the woman who had appeared abruptly in the morning.
Xixi leaned closer to Jin Jumo’s leg.
Hanhan examined Liang Yi cautiously as she hastily walked towards them.
Jin Jumo looked coldly at Liang Yi.
