Jian Ningfeng cheerfully accepted it, affectionately eyeing Jian Liangtong, and said with great satisfaction, "My daughter has grown up, she knows how to care for her old dad now."

Jian Liangtong’s lips trembled slightly, her long eyelashes slowly drooped, and she muttered in her heart, she did have a boyfriend, but she just didn’t dare to bring him ho.
Jian Ningfeng only glanced at Jian Liangtong from the corner of his eye and said nothing.
The father and daughter remained silent, and He Xinyun couldn’t be bothered to say more.
After Jian Ningfeng finished his al, she cleaned the leftovers and walked out of the ward with the trash bag.

"Yeah." Huo Shaojun acknowledged but skipped over the topic, "Hungry."

Jian Liangtong frowned, turned around, and hailed another taxi, using her hand to cover the phone microphone. She reported her destination to the driver, then removed her hand and said into the phone, "It’s already past two in the afternoon, don’t tell you haven’t eaten anything yet?"
"Yeah."
"This isn’t good for your health. You’re an actor, don’t you know how important it is for an actor to have a good body?"
"...Yeah."
"Huo Shaojun, don’t get impatient with when I’m talking to you!"

On Huo Shaojun’s end, there was silence for a while, not even a shallow breath could be heard.
Jian Liangtong thought the call had dropped. She pulled the phone away to check and found it hadn’t.
Frowning in suspicion, Jian Liangtong put the phone back to her ear, "Huo Sha..."
"Heh..." Just as Jian Liangtong spoke, a clear and light laughter ca from the other end, pleasant enough to charm the ears.
Jian Liangtong was suddenly stunned, tightening the grip on her phone with her five fingers, she lightly held her breath.
