"It’ll be fine in a mont." Rong Mochen looked at Jin Jumo’s awkward little face, his dark eyes softening a bit.

What do you an it’ll be fine in a mont?

Jin Jumo looked at him in confusion.

Rong Mochen held Jin Jumo steadily in his arms with one hand, using the other to tuck her long hair behind her ear, "The waiter has gone to call the doctor, they should be here soon to have a look at you and prescribe accordingly."

Prescribe accordingly?

Can it even be treated?

Unless the little sprout in her stomach is removed.

Jin Jumo was so shocked that it was nearly beyond her ability to cope.

Earlier, she was so focused on throwing up that she didn’t even know when he asked the waiter to call for a doctor.

But the key is.

How can she see a doctor right under his eyes without instantly getting exposed?

Jin Jumo’s face turned even paler than when she was vomiting, taking a breath, "Mr. Rong, I might have eaten sothing bad, it’ll be fine after I throw up a bit. There’s really no need to call a doctor for such a small thing."

Rong Mochen stared at Jin Jumo dispassionately, "Throw up a bit?"

Jin Jumo lacked confidence, but had to hold on strong, "Mr. Rong, I don’t feel like throwing up anymore, really."

Rong Mochen’s piercing gaze fixed on Jin Jumo’s eyes, as if asuring the truth of her words.

Facing his intensely perceptive stare, Jin Jumo’s heart pounded fiercely, gritting her teeth saying, "Actually, I suddenly feel like eating sothing now."

Rong Mochen squinted, "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely sure." Jin Jumo nodded like a chick pecking at rice.

Rong Mochen slightly raised an eyebrow, carrying Jin Jumo out of the bathroom and placing her back at the dining table.

Due to Jin Jumo’s sudden vomiting episode, most of the dishes that were ordered earlier had gone cold.

Rong Mochen had the waiter take them away, and ordered a new table of food, not forgetting to include a dish of fish for Jin Jumo.

Jin Jumo’s complexion was pale, her tiny face, no bigger than a palm, was clearly lacking in blood and looked translucent like rice paper, paired with her big, dark eyes, making her particularly pitiable.

Rong Mochen stared at her, "If you don’t want to eat, don’t force yourself."

Jin Jumo gave a weak smile, "I want to eat."

Speaking, Jin Jumo lowered her head, and really started eating in large mouthfuls, acting as if she was enjoying it very much.

Rong Mochen didn’t eat, silently watching her, with her cheeks bulging from eating.

For so reason, his heart seed to clench.

When the waiter led the doctor in, they saw Jin Jumo eating heartily as if nothing had happened, and were a bit shocked.

A bit unsure, they looked at Rong Mochen, "Mr. Rong, the doctor is here."

Hearing that the doctor had arrived.

Jin Jumo’s back stiffened, her long lashes trembling lightly, she peeked at Rong Mochen.

Rong Mochen also looked at her, his dark eyes fixed on her deep, dark eyes, before turning to the waiter, "No need."

"..."

The doctor who had been hurriedly called was internally raging with a scene of galloping horses.

But now, apart from leaving reluctantly, could he go ahead and punch soone while shouting "Stop ssing around"?

Obviously not!

With people of such status, he could only mutter to himself, not daring to actually do anything!

The waiter had no choice but to lead the doctor away.

Watching the waiter and doctor leave, Jin Jumo inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.

Rong Mochen fixed his gaze on Jin Jumo’s suddenly relaxed profile, his dark eyes narrowing slightly.

To show she really didn’t want to throw up and actually wanted to eat, Jin Jumo ate two bowls of millet rice, enduring the turmoil in her stomach, and finished half a fish before they left the private room, her legs trembling.

"Mochen." A warm, deep male voice with a hint of surprise ca from ahead.

The man beside her promptly stopped.

Jin Jumo had to stop too, enduring the discomfort in her stomach.

She looked up.

Within her line of sight, a man in casual, elegant beige sweater and light-colored pants, with a soft-colored wool coat on top, had fair skin and features as gentle as his clothing, radiating a kind, big brother vibe.

And the delicate woman holding onto his arm, wasn’t she the one with Rong Mochen yesterday?

Jin Jumo’s eyes narrowed slightly, looking towards Rong Mochen beside her.

Rong Mochen’s cold and austere face showed no expression, his perpetually cold dark eyes having a rare hint of warmth, though hardly noticeable without careful observation.

"Brother." Rong Mochen spoke, lips moving slightly.

Brother?

Jin Jumo was slightly stunned.

Rong Sinan gave a gentle smile, walking towards Rong Mochen.

It was then Jin Jumo noticed that his left leg seed to be a bit inconvenient, stiff and slightly limping as he walked.

"Not going to introduce us?" Rong Sinan walked up, glanced at Jin Jumo, the curve of his mouth deepening, looking at Rong Mochen with a smile.

Rong Mochen’s lips curved too, his dark eyes falling on Jin Jumo, but he didn’t speak.

Jin Jumo’s eyes twinkled, straightforwardly said, "Hello, I’m Jin Jumo."

"Hello." Rong Sinan spoke warmly, his eyes always filled with a warm, gentle color, "Rong Sinan, the brother of the icy-faced gentleman beside you."

Icy-faced gentleman?

Jin Jumo looked at Rong Mochen sulkily, but saw his face unchanged, and even the emotion in his dark eyes softened a bit.

Raising an eyebrow slightly, it seed Mr. Rong was quite close to his brother!

"This is the first ti I’ve seen Mochen dining alone with a ’female’ friend in a restaurant." Rong Sinan looked at Jin Jumo, his expression so suggestive it almost spelled "You two have sothing going on" on his face.

The woman beside him heard this, her soft face raising gently, her delicate eyes looking softly at Rong Mochen.

Jin Jumo felt a bit awkward.

After all, the relationship between her and Rong Mochen wasn’t suitable for this kind of teasing joke, especially coming from Rong Mochen’s brother.

So, Jin Jumo just pulled her lips into a smile, saying nothing.

But Rong Sinan seed very interested, looking at Rong Mochen with a brotherly knowing glance.

Rong Mochen’s thin lips moved, his long arm landing on Jin Jumo’s waist, without exerting much force, pulling Jin Jumo right into his arms.

Jin Jumo was startled, her expression changing slightly, surprised at Rong Mochen’s irreverence, doing sothing so flirtatious in front of his brother.

Rong Sinan, seeing Rong Mochen’s move, smiled brightly, lightly pointed a finger at Rong Mochen.

Rong Mochen raised his eyebrows, looking carefree and arrogant.

The two brothers’ personalities were poles apart.

"Sinan, I’m hungry." The woman who hadn’t spoken till now softly spoke up.

"Seeing Mochen almost made forget our purpose here." Rong Sinan chuckled gracefully, lightly patting the woman’s hand, "It’s my fault for letting you go hungry."

The woman gently shook her head, her long lashes drooping.

"Mochen, find so ti to bring Miss Jin to the Beisheng Family’s ho as a guest, I’ll personally cook for her." Rong Sinan said with a very polite smile, looking at Rong Mochen.

Rong Mochen’s lips curved slightly, looking at Jin Jumo, "I can’t decide on that, it depends on her willingness. If she doesn’t want to, I can’t do anything about it."

"..."

CEO, did you take the wrong dication?

Jin Jumo’s mouth twitched awkwardly, her expression as awkward as could be.

Between the two of them, who exactly wasn’t in charge?

Why would he say sothing like that?

Rong Sinan chuckled, giving Rong Mochen a "You too" look, his smile deepening as he turned to Jin Jumo, making a gentlemanly invitation, "So, Miss Jin, would you like to co to our humble abode?"

Humble abode?

If the Rong Family calls it a "humble abode," then all the houses in the world could only be called straw huts.

"It would be an honor." Jin Jumo followed suit with the formal talk.

Agreeing verbally is one thing, actually going is another.
