Jian Liangtong looked at the chicken nuggets in her bowl for a good while, then raised her head to look at Huo Shaojun beside her, a soft smile curling her lips, "I used to really enjoy this, thought spicy chicken nuggets were the best food in the world. But now it’s okay, not eating it doesn’t make miss it particularly. Thank you."

The things you like to eat are like the people you like.

She originally thought she would only love one person in her life, but later she discovered, she could also not love him, not miss him.

Huo Shaojun, whether he understood the deeper aning in Jian Liangtong’s words or not, gazed at her with cold, profound eyes, "As long as you enjoy it when you eat."

Jian Liangtong’s pupils slightly shrank, and finally just tugged at the corners of her mouth to Huo Shaojun, saying nothing further.

Throughout the al, Huo Shaojun continued his way of doing things, frequently picking out dishes Jian Liangtong liked for her.

Jian Liangtong would start by politely saying thank you, but after many tis, she stopped saying it.

After lunch, Jian Liangtong thought Huo Shaojun would imdiately take Hao Hao and leave.

But he did not.

After cleaning up the dining table, Jian Liangtong washed her hands and walked out of the kitchen.

Huo Shaojun, Bai Qiao, and Huo Tinghao were all sitting on the sofa; as she ca out, all three gazes turned to her.

Jian Liangtong pursed her lips and walked over.

"Mom." Hao Hao got down from the sofa and walked to Jian Liangtong’s side, his small body lightly leaning against her leg.

Jian Liangtong looked down at Hao Hao tenderly, smiled, and reached out to rub his little head.

Huo Tinghao stood close to Jian Liangtong, yet his clear big eyes were fixated on Huo Shaojun.

Bai Qiao glanced at Jian Liangtong and Hao Hao, then at Huo Shaojun, still not daring to speak, tightened his lips and played the role of a confused deaf mute.

Jian Liangtong glanced at Huo Shaojun, her apricot eyes flickering lightly, unable to grasp his intention.

Holding Hao Hao, squeezing into the single-seater sofa, Jian Liangtong lightly lowered her head, softly looking at Hao Hao’s tender white face.

The living room was so quiet you could hear the sound of a pin dropping.

"Huo Tinghao."

Suddenly, Huo Shaojun spoke.

Jian Liangtong imdiately noticed the little one beside her straighten his back abruptly.

Lightly furrowing her brows, Jian Liangtong lifted her eyes to look at Huo Shaojun.

Huo Shaojun rose from the sofa, his tall, upright figure like a tree growing tall, very imposing and formidable.

Huo Tinghao’s little face was nervously stiffened.

Huo Shaojun slowly turned his gaze, his deep cold eyes sweeping across Jian Liangtong’s delicate face, landing lightly on Huo Tinghao, "Your Grandma Xu worried about you all morning, do you want her to continue worrying?"

"..." Huo Tinghao’s tender lips pressed straight, his dark eyes flashing faintly with apology.

His small fra stiffened for two seconds.

Hao Hao slid off the sofa, bowing his head, said to Jian Liangtong, "Mom, I’m going back."

Upon hearing he was leaving.

A strong sense of reluctance instantly surged from her heart.

Jian Liangtong reached out to hold Hao Hao’s hand, unwilling to let go, yet unable to utter words of retention.

Indeed, as Huo Shaojun said.

Hao Hao ran out secretly today, already worrying everyone at ho.

At this mont, there are elderly people at ho still worried about him.

She had no reason to keep him.

Hao Hao hung his head even lower, perhaps to hide sothing.

Huo Shaojun glanced at Jian Liangtong holding Hao Hao’s fair hand, sothing flashed quickly through his cold eyes, his thin lips also slightly pressed together.

Just as Huo Shaojun led Hao Hao out the front door, Bai Qiao sprang from the sofa, his feet like they were stepping on wind fire wheels, rushed to Jian Liangtong, "Sister Tong, you and Brother Huo, you guys, you guys..."

Perhaps too shocked by Bai Qiao, Bai Qiao couldn’t speak properly, still stamring.

Jian Liangtong felt sowhat downcast, not wanting to deal with Bai Qiao, glanced at him and walked toward her own room.

Bai Qiao instinctively followed behind Jian Liangtong, chattering incessantly, "Sister Tong, I really didn’t expect, you and Brother Huo, you two actually, actually have this kind of relationship..."

"This kind of relationship?" Jian Liangtong abruptly stopped, feeling more irritable as Bai Qiao kept chattering in her ear, turned to stare at him and asked.

Bai Qiao didn’t anticipate her sudden halt, backed away quickly, holding his chest, looking at Jian Liangtong.

Jian Liangtong’s face cold as ice, sothing Bai Qiao had never seen before.

Bai Qiao was a bit dazed.

Jian Liangtong frowned, "If you dare spread today’s matter, do you believe I’ll cut your tongue?"

The entertainnt circle is a place of gossip, if her matter with Huo Shaojun spreads, she isn’t worried about herself, nor Huo Shaojun, only about dragging Hao Hao into the whirlpool of gossip.

"..." Bai Qiao’s hair stood on end, startled, staring at Jian Liangtong.
