Rong Rui shook his head, "Aunt Zhang, you’re still too naive."

Zhang Lan, "..."

Staring at Rong Rui with a twitching face.

"Haven’t you realized yet? He just doesn’t want anymore, wants to get rid of as a burden, so he’s making us pack our things and move out. You think, he’s thrown us out, would he still stay here with ? The dinner just now was our last farewell dinner. He certainly won’t co anymore in the future."

Rong Rui said earnestly.

After hearing Rong Rui’s words, Zhang Lan couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

This little guy has such a big, peculiar imagination, incomparable to ordinary people!

"Sigh, Aunt Zhang, wake up, from now on, it’ll just be the two of us relying on each other for survival." Rong Rui said.

"Goodnight."

Zhang Lan couldn’t be bothered to listen to his "nonsense" anymore, bent down to kiss his small forehead, and said.

Then, using so force, she pulled her fingers out of Rong Rui’s chubby little hand, stood up from the edge of the bed, and walked towards the door without looking back. Before leaving the room, she reached out and turned off the light.

The room was instantly plunged into darkness.

Rong Rui, "..."

At this mont, in the next room.

Tang Yige was still sitting on the sofa, while Si Nan stood in the middle of the bedroom, lightly pinching his waist with his hands, his eyes coolly observing Tang Yige, saying, "Take your dicine."

Tang Yige held two cups in her hands, with dicine in them.

Upon hearing Si Nan’s words, Tang Yige paused for a few seconds, fed the dicine from her palm into her mouth, took a sip of water to swallow it, and then turned her veiled eyes towards Si Nan, "Can you leave now? I want to rest."

Si Nan frowned, "Planning to sleep just like this?"

"..." She also wanted to take a shower before sleeping, but now she was a "blind person", and was afraid that she might drown herself in the bathroom, so what else could she do if not sleep like this?

"Want to wash up?"

Si Nan asked.

"No!" Tang Yige said decisively.

Si Nan stared at her, "What, afraid I’ll take advantage of you?"

Tang Yige pressed her lips tightly, not saying a word.

Si Nan raised an eyebrow, "Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you for the ti being."

For the ti being?

Tang Yige’s face twitched.

Could it be that he planned to do sothing to her later?

Just as she was thinking about it, a series of footsteps ca from the front.

Tang Yige’s expression slightly straightened, and her back involuntarily stiffened, with a slight tremor in her voice, "I said I don’t want to wash!"

Si Nan walked over to her, and without saying a word, picked her up from the sofa and headed towards the bathroom.

"Ah... Si Nan!"

Tang Yige was both shocked and angry, struggling in his arms.

"If you move again, I’ll throw you down!" Si Nan frowned at her.

"I don’t want to wash, put down!" Tang Yige said angrily, her face flushed.

Si Nan gazed at her quivering cheeks, tightened his lips, and after a mont, said, "Sleeping without washing is uncomfortable."

"Whether I’m comfortable or not is none of your business! Put down!" Tang Yige said.

Si Nan took a deep breath, clenched his jaw, and without another word, carried her into the bathroom and directly placed her, clothed, into the bathtub.

The bathtub was chilly, and Tang Yige could feel it even through two layers of clothing.

With her hands clinging to the edge of the bathtub, Tang Yige gritted her teeth, attempting to climb out of the tub.

However, her shoulder was suddenly pressed down from above.

"Si Nan..."

"I’ll let you out once the water is ready, you’ll wash yourself!"

Si Nan’s voice was tense, as if suppressing sothing.

Tang Yige’s body froze, her angry words stuck in her throat, unable to co out.

Si Nan lifted her out of the bathtub, letting her sit on its edge, and then moved to adjust the water temperature, turning on the hot water faucet.

The sound of water flowing filled the space, Tang Yige’s ears twitched, her hands clasped together in front of her.

Si Nan stood in front of her, eyes cast down, staring unblinkingly at Tang Yige.

For a mont, the bathroom was filled with the sound of water and two slightly strained breaths, with no other sounds intruding.

Since Tang Yige would be alone in the bathroom later, Si Nan didn’t dare fill the bathtub too full, for fear of any accidents.

When the water reached halfway up the tub, he turned it off.

As the sound of the water ceased, Tang Yige’s waist straightened a bit more.

Si Nan noticed, his clear eyes slightly darkened, looking at her, he said softly, "I’ll be right outside the door, call if you need anything."

Tang Yige remained silent.

Si Nan’s throat moved slightly, turning around to walk out.

The sound of the bathroom door closing resonated, and Tang Yige’s tense body gradually relaxed.

Her hand slid along the edge of the bathtub, feeling the pleasantly warm water with her fingertips, she stirred it for a mont before retracting her hand.

Her gaze shifted towards the bathroom door, waiting for about four or five seconds.

Only then did Tang Yige slowly start taking off her coat and dress.

Since she couldn’t see, Tang Yige placed her coat and dress directly onto the floor beside the bathtub.

Gradually placing her legs into the bathtub, she slid her body along the edge, inch by inch.

The warm water seeped into her pores, providing Tang Yige’s weary soul with so solace.

Tang Yige leaned her head against the bathtub, slowly stretching out her legs, completely relaxing.

...

Si Nan kept his vigil at the bathroom door, his nerves highly strung, worried Tang Yige might suddenly experience so mishap inside.

However, after half an hour, not a single sound ca from within.

Si Nan’s frown deepened, his hands also tensing.

Suddenly, he turned around, raising his hand to grasp the door handle.

As he prepared to turn it, he paused.

His long eyelashes fluttered lightly, he grasped the handle tightly, "Yiyi, are you done?"

Si Nan asked, and after five or six seconds, Tang Yige’s cool voice replied, "Yes."

Hearing her voice, Si Nan’s tightly suspended heart settled back into place. "I’m opening the door," he said.

After waiting for a mont, Tang Yige did not make a sound.

Taking her silence as consent, Si Nan turned the door open.

His gaze landed on Tang Yige standing barefoot on the floor by the bathtub, and he was montarily stunned.

Tang Yige wore the coat, the zipper pulled up to her neck, revealing her slender, well-proportioned calves, and at her feet lay the long dress she had been wearing earlier.

His eyes lingered for several seconds on the dress before moving away, looking at Tang Yige.

Her long hair was tied loosely at the back, with so strands fallen loose and wet, clinging to her cheek and slender neck.

Freshly washed, her cheeks were a rosy white, her skin delicate like that of a girl in her early twenties, full of collagen.

Si Nan’s heart thudded heavily, his eyes growing darker as he looked at Tang Yige.

Tang Yige, however, felt inexplicably awkward and uneasy.

She clearly heard the bathroom door open, heard his slightly ragged breathing coming from the front, yet heard no voice from him.

Tang Yige’s feet shifted against the cold floor, her cheeks lowering.

Stubbornly refusing his help, she began to move her feet, feeling her way towards the bathroom sink.

But before taking a few steps, her forehead bumped into the glass of the shower, making her wince and clutch at her forehead.

Si Nan’s eyelids twitched, frowning, he took two steps forward, scooping Tang Yige up and out of the bathroom.

"...Wait, wait a minute."

Tang Yige gasped, trying to speak.

Si Nan stopped abruptly, tilting his head to Peer quizzically at her face.

"I want to rinse," Tang Yige said.

Si Nan’s clear eyes flickered, but he said nothing, carrying Tang Yige to the sink, softly setting her down to stand before it.

Then, he picked up the rinse cup, taking out an electric toothbrush and toothpaste, squeezed so paste for her, filled the cup with water, and placed it near her hand, lifting her right hand to hold the toothbrush.

Tang Yige held the electric toothbrush in her hand, pressing her lips together, her fair face lined with complexity.

For their current way of interacting, Tang Yige internally resisted, yet she had no choice.

Tang Yige took a quiet breath, her fingers brushing against the rinse cup, about to pick it up, when a childish exclamation ca from outside the bathroom.

"Ouch..."

Tang Yige, "..."
