...

Zizhou.

In the hotel, Qing Lan was infuriated by Qin Mu’s rciless words. What did he an by "as poor as her"? She was, more or less, a major strear and earned quite a bit of money. It was just that over the years, most of what she’d earned had been spent on this apartnt. When she thought about the cracks in her apartnt, her heart felt like it was splitting open again.

She directly accessed the rights protection group. She discussed the afternoon’s police report and Qin Mu’s suggestions once again.

"The lawsuit template is now in the group. Everyone please fill it out tonight!"

Once she sent her ssage, the whole rights protection group boiled over again.

"They were all arrested? So satisfying! Really satisfying!"

"The property manager was arrested too? Group Leader, your friend is quite sothing. Can you introduce us?"

"But although those people were arrested, what about our hos? Where do we live now?"

"Does everyone have to write a lawsuit docunt?"

"..."

Apart from feeling vindicated by the current turn of events, many were more concerned about their future living conditions. Ever since it was confird that the building was hazardous and could collapse at any mont, they were terrified even to go back to fetch their possessions. Many were living here with their families. Now everyone was forced out, either staying in hotels or with relatives. It was extrely inconvenient.

"This lawsuit is for civil compensation. You can include any demands you have, requiring the other party to pay damages," as the group leader, Qing Lan patiently explained. "Then we can sue them through the court. As long as the demands are reasonable, compensation can be obtained."

These were the most legitimate and effective rights protection thods. There’s no absolute fairness and justice in the world. But the court... is the place that most values fairness and justice. Even if the local governnt does sothing wrong, you can still file a lawsuit.

The hoowners in the group, after learning about the thods of civil rights protection, were filled with excitent. They began to learn how to write the lawsuit docunts.

Whether or not the opposing party could afford to pay was a concern for later. To receive compensation, they first had to demand it.

So, that very night, the rights protection group saw a variety of compensation demands.

"@GroupLeader, I was supposed to have a blind date a few days ago, but when I brought her to my place, she never spoke to again after seeing the cracked walls in my house. Can I demand they set up with soone new as compensation?"

"Group Leader, I rember the owner of apartnt 401 has a pretty sister, and I’m single too. Can I make this compensation demand?"

"Right, Group Leader, how much should I put down for emotional distress? There are five people in my family, and we were all incredibly upset by this. Can we ask for more?"

"My mother is eighty-nine this year, and she was so upset about not having a ho to return to that she was hospitalized. Can I demand compensation for dical bills?"

"..."

Qing Lan’s lips twitched as she busied herself dealing with the various hoowners’ issues in the group. If she encountered issues she was uncertain about, she would consult Qin Mu before replying to the hoowners.

With over three hundred people involved, this continued until eleven o’clock at night, by which ti they had all gradually completed their lawsuit docunts.

"Everyone should go to bed early. Tomorrow morning at nine o’clock, we’ll et right in front of the district gates and head to the court together!"

Having handled these matters, Qing Lan sent out the ssage and then fell into a deep sleep.

...

「The next day.」

She woke up on ti with the alarm. After washing up, she headed to the gates of Yuefu Jiangnan District.

By nine o’clock, all three hundred and fifty-nine hoowners had arrived. No one was absent since it involved their rights.

"Let’s go!"

Afterward, the group, with their printed lawsuit docunts in hand, marched impressively towards Zizhou Court.

At ten o’clock in the morning, under Qing Lan’s lead, more than three hundred people entered the court.

"Quickly notify the bailiffs; it looks like so people are here to make trouble!"

The court staff were terrified upon seeing this. They imdiately had soone inform the court bailiffs.

When more than a dozen bailiffs arrived and saw Qing Lan’s large contingent, they didn’t dare act rashly. Instead, they shouted from a distance, "This is a court! What exactly do you all want, gathering here in such numbers?"

The sight of over three hundred people standing together was indeed intimidating. They were densely packed. If a confrontation occurred, casualties would be inevitable. For a mont, the entire court felt as if it were facing a major threat due to the arrival of Qing Lan and her group.

At Qing Lan’s side, a few hoowners, seeing the dozen or so bailiffs arrayed before them, couldn’t help but beco flustered. They looked towards Qing Lan, asking cautiously, "Group Leader, we won’t be arrested, will we?"

Qing Lan had never encountered such a situation before. She swallowed hard but composed herself. She explained their purpose to the court personnel, "Don’t be nervous. We’re all victims here to file a complaint."

"Victims?"

The dozen bailiffs exchanged glances, then looked back at the dense crowd behind Qing Lan, skeptical. Only when Qing Lan and others produced their individual lawsuit docunts did they believe the group’s intentions.

However, they remained vigilant, constantly watching Qing Lan and her group for any unexpected moves.

anwhile, another staff mber stepped forward to guide them. "The registration center is this way."

Before long, the densely packed group of more than three hundred people reached the registration center, instantly filling the originally spacious area to the brim.

"’Line up, one by one,’ a staff mber from the registration center said, swallowing hard and speaking in a gentle, low voice."
