Now reading: Chapter 534 - 216 Qin Mu: Am I that famous?3 from Too Bad I Take Things Seriously, a Fantasy novel by Viewing the Galaxy of Fish.

But it touched the hearts of many, especially those industries that had once "suffered disaster"—such as interdiaries, lotteries, banks, and car sales. This "familiar" incident reminded them of that previous "pain." The unresolved matters concerning Liu Qiao made them all anxious and on tenterhooks, fearing they would once again bring trouble upon themselves. Qin Mu’s "fire," each ti it appeared, was trendously destructive.

The pharmaceutical industry was no exception. After hearing about the situation at Sanhe Hospital, they all started actively conducting internal reviews, telling their doctors to quickly "clean up their act." Everyone understood that every industry has its hidden misdeeds. Wherever profits were to be made, complex rivalries and unwritten rules inevitably took hold. But Qin Mu’s arrival suddenly disrupted this balance. Given the precedents in other industries, those in the pharmaceutical industry no longer dared to underestimate Qin Mu.

However, on this particular day, an investigation notice from the Procuratorate was delivered to three hospitals in Jin City, once again triggering an earthquake.

"What in the world is going on? Investigated again? Wasn’t this supposed to be just about Sanhe Hospital?"

"Thankfully, it has nothing to do with . I’m just a janitor."

"Heavens, what’s happening? Don’t tell Liu Qiao stirred this up again?"

"When will this storm ever end?"

"..."

Countless people were wailing in distress. The doctors who received the notice from the Procuratorate scrambled to flee.

During the interrogation, Liu Qiao gradually confessed to his cris and nad the doctors from other hospitals with whom he had colluded. The interrogations progressed rapidly. Before long, several doctors from these three hospitals were arrested one after another. For a ti, the entire hospital was in a state of panic. From the cleaning staff to the hospital director, everyone was trembling with fear.

Subsequently, the directors of other hospitals who got wind of the situation also convened ergency etings, gathering all their middle and senior-level staff. They issued stern warnings against any criminal acts involving the abuse of authority. These warnings specifically addressed many profit-making thods that, while illicit, were commonplace in the industry.

"From now on, everyone in procurent, surgery, and prescription departnts, listen up! If you don’t want to die, stop whatever you’re doing imdiately, before you get caught!"

"The storm Qin Mu has unleashed can no longer be stopped!"

"The personal actions of many employees are unrelated to the hospital!"

"Sanhe Hospital has already been shut down! I don’t want our hospital to beco the next Sanhe Hospital!"

"..."

The bloody lesson of Sanhe Hospital served as a stark warning. All other hospitals were terrified of becoming the next casualty. Doctors in hospitals yet to be exposed, or those not yet investigated, even began resigning en masse, preparing to flee. Within a single day, the resignation rate at Jin City’s various hospitals reached a new high, unseen for decades. Anyone unaware of the situation might have thought hospitals from another city were aggressively recruiting talent.

...

「Jin City.」

「The nursing ho.」

Qin Mu was playing chess with Old Zhang when he suddenly heard a voice in his mind.

"DING! Congratulations to the Host for successfully completing the mission: Deter the Pharmaceutical Industry. Task completion rate: 160%."

The system, which he had been waiting for, had finally settled the current mission. In the system panel, the mission status now showed as "Completed," with a remarkable completion rate of 160%.

Why did it suddenly complete? Qin Mu was startled for a mont. He had thought he would have to wait until the verdict of Liu Qiao’s second trial before the mission would be settled. He hadn’t expected that after such a short ti, the system would initiate the settlent on its own, even notifying him that he had already deterred the pharmaceutical industry.

All I did was shut down a pharmacy and cause one hospital to close. Is that really enough to deter the entire pharmaceutical industry? And with such a high completion rate?

Looking at his mission evaluation, Qin Mu’s lips twitched; it all felt rather unreal.

Undoubtedly, a single hospital’s closure was no small matter. But the hospitals in Jin City were incredibly nurous; there were simply so many. He hadn’t expected the completion rate to be as high as 160%.

"DING! Congratulations to the Host. You have received a random reward for this mission: 400 Wish Value points."

Shortly after, the system’s voice rang out again. In the system panel, his Wish Value had suddenly increased by 400 points, bringing the total to 700. Once he collected 1,000 points, he could make a wish. Wish Value had always been quite rare, even rarer than Luck Value. He had acquired many peculiar skills but had seldom obtained Wish Value.

This is a pleasant surprise, Qin Mu mused, shrugging as his mood lightened considerably. Just one or two more events to trigger system tasks... and I’ll have the remaining 300 Wish Value points. Then I can finally try out this ’Make a Wish’ feature. In all the ti he’d had the system, he had thoroughly explored Luck Value, yet he had never once made a wish.

Just then, Su Yongnian and several other elderly n hurried in from the yard, approaching Qin Mu. Panting, Su Yongnian said, "Xiao Qin, sothing major has happened! I just went to the pharmacy and saw signs at the entrance... lots of them, saying ’Qin Mu Prohibited from Entry’!"

Their faces were flushed, as if they had discovered sothing truly incredible.

"I’m prohibited from entry?" Qin Mu echoed, taken aback and sowhat bewildered.

"Yes! The sign clearly stated in big letters that you are prohibited from entry," Su Yongnian confird with a nod, then recounted what he had seen during his afternoon stroll. Ever since Liu Qiao’s second trial, whenever he had free ti, Su Yongnian had made it a habit to check on the nearby pharmacies. But today...
