Listening to Old Zhang’s introduction, Qin Mu looked up at the group that had arrived together.
No wonder they looked so familiar. The one at the very edge was the court clerk responsible for recording and counting the number of people in attendance. There were also the court registry staff and the bailiffs... about twenty people in all.
The only difference was... they weren’t in their work uniforms but in casual clothes. After all, today was a joyous day for Old Zhang; coming in work uniforms wouldn’t seem appropriate.
"Please, have a seat, everyone."
Old Zhang also hurried over to et them, personally leading the group of about twenty into the banquet hall. He arranged a total of three tables for them.
Once they were all properly seated, he returned to the entrance to continue welcoming guests. A smile never left his lips. He seed very pleased by the arrival of these "friends."
"By the way, Xiao Qin," Zhang Qingyuan then turned and looked expectantly at Qin Mu. "Didn’t you say Zhang Wei was also coming? And that he was inviting so lawyers too? How many people are coming in total?"
This was his first wedding in fifty years. All he wanted was for it to be lively and bustling. The more people, the better. The grander the scene, the better. The higher the cost, the better. After all... the nursing ho was paying for it anyway.
"I’m not sure about the specific number, but it should be... quite a few," Qin Mu replied with a dry laugh.
Zhang Wei had only ntioned that he had notified so lawyers. As for the number... Zhang Wei didn’t seem to know either and hadn’t told him.
Zhang Qingyuan felt a little apprehensive upon hearing this. This ti, he had inford the nursing ho and arranged for fifty tables in the banquet hall. If there weren’t enough people... then so tables would inevitably have to be removed, or they would simply remain empty.

Qin Mu felt his generational status skyrocket in that mont.He had intended to treat this group as his equals, but Zhang Qingyuan placed great importance on seniority.With no choice, he had to endure it, tacitly accepting that he now had a host of new grandchildren.
"Gosh, this Great-Grandpa Qin... why does he look so young?" One of them, a little girl of only six, tilted her head and curiously scrutinized Qin Mu, hesitating to take her seat.
"Old Zhang, congratulations, congratulations!"
At that mont, from afar, another familiar voice called out, and Qin Mu hurriedly looked in its direction.
There he saw Zhang Wei striding forward. Behind him, a group of people dressed in suits, wearing bow ties and leather shoes, followed closely. As for their number... it was a dense throng of people, stretching as far as the eye could see. A quick glance suggested there were at least a hundred people.
"This... so many people?"
Upon seeing this, Zhang Qingyuan’s eyes lit up. He quickly went to et them.
"Congratulations to Old Zhang on your wedding! This is a small token of my regard, please accept it," Zhang Wei said with a smile, pulling out a red packet.
And the group of people behind him... followed suit. They each took out a red packet, stepped forward, and handed it to Zhang Qingyuan.
"Wishing Old Zhang a joyous marriage and a long life together!"
"This is a small token from . Wishing Old Zhang good health, joy, and peace!"
"I ca in a hurry and didn’t prepare a proper gift. Please, you must accept this red packet."
"Old Zhang, you look exceptionally hale and dapper today! Your charisma surpasses even us younger folk!"

Everyone was all smiles, offering various flattering and congratulatory remarks.
Zhang Qingyuan, however, was completely flabbergasted by their enthusiasm. He wanted to refuse these monetary gifts, but they pressed them on him. The key was... he didn’t know any of these people.He had only intended to liven up the atmosphere and make it bustling; he hadn’t thought about red packets at all.
"Ahem, they are all lawyers from Jin City." Seeing this, Zhang Wei quickly smoothed things over. "When they heard about Old Zhang’s joyous occasion, they were all so excited they couldn’t sleep and insisted on coming."
He paused, then continued, "We are just the first batch; there are more to co."
Ever since he announced the news in the various lawyer groups in Jin City, these lawyers were all stirred up and eager to participate. Newly licensed associate lawyers, veteran lawyers who had started their own firms, and even those with a modicum of fa... all were keen to be a part of this. They all wanted to co to this nursing ho to "make a pilgrimage." This was one of their few chances to get close to Qin Mu.Moreover, they were just the vanguard.As for how many more would arrive... even he wasn’t sure.
"There are more coming?"
Upon hearing this, Zhang Qingyuan inhaled sharply and couldn’t help but mutter to himself, "So, my reputation in Jin City... has unknowingly grown this much?"
The sight before him was completely beyond his expectations. He was just getting married, yet it had caused such a stir among so many lawyers.His influence... seed to have radiated beyond the nursing ho, encompassing the entirety of Jin City!
A mont later, he was looking at Zhang Wei and the group of lawyers behind him.
