A swift silhouette charged in, casting glances around the room, and froze seeing the blood-drenched person lying on the floor. Upon noticing Aurelia cowered in the corner, Viscount Zhou quickly strode over, instructing his assistant without a word, "Handle the situation outside. No one is to utter a word about what happened here."
"Yes." The assistant turned and walked out.
The door to the private room was closed, blocking curious gazes from outside.
"Aurelia."
Viscount Zhou's voice was filled with concern, as he strode over. Yet before he could touch Aurelia, a sharp glint suddenly flashed before his eyes.
Aurelia appeared to have been startled beyond asure, her veins bulging as she tightly gripped the blood-stained half of a broken bottle, aiming it at Viscount Zhou with icy, glaring eyes.
"Don't co closer!" she shouted.
Viscount Zhou halted his steps and gently reassured her, "It's already over, Aurelia, I'm Viscount Zhou, I'm here to ensure you won't be hard. Please, let go of the bottle, okay?"
Aurelia didn't expect Viscount Zhou to co. Her intention was never to involve him in this revenge, which was why she chose to text Mason Nightshade.

Still, Aurelia flinched violently, wrapping her arms tightly about herself, pressing her head deeply between her legs, her fingertips turning white from gripping the disheveled fabric of her clothes, shrinking into the corner like a frightened, alert animal.
Viscount Zhou tightened his grip.
"Damn it!"
He adjusted his emotions and softened his tone towards Aurelia, saying, "With here, no one will bully you. I won't touch you, alright? I'll just co over to drape a coat over you, okay?"
Aurelia said nothing.
Viscount Zhou took off his coat and approached her slowly, carefully draping it over her shoulders. Aurelia's lashes were cast low, her gaze hollow and dim, her cheeks white and devoid of color, her disheveled hair sticking to her small face. Who knows how panicked she was when it happened.

Viscount Zhou naturally assud the "others" Aurelia ntioned referred to Audrey Wood. A flicker of rage passed through his eyes as he gritted his teeth, "Don't worry, I won't let her get away with this! That woman dared to do such a thing to you, she's courting death!"
A burst of noise suddenly erupted outside the private room as soone shouted "Mason!", and the door was flung open from the outside.
