Aurelia Shaw scrutinized the face before her closely. The corners of the eyes bore many wrinkles, yet the complexion was serene, with no sign of murkiness in the eyes, exuding a warmth that softened one's heart.
It had been years since she'd seen such a calm and uncalculating ordinary face.
"I've never seen you in this house before," Aurelia said. Although her mind was sotis muddled, making it hard to recall certain things, she rembered clearly what every servant in this house looked like.
