Aurelia shook her head. Seeing Amanda’s spirit dim, she smiled and quickly added, "But I’m short of an agent. Are you interested in switching careers?"
Amanda’s eyes lit up.
"Are... are you serious?"
Aurelia nodded, "Very serious. But you’ve been a makeup artist for so many years and have no experience as an agent. Switching would an giving up the makeup industry. Are you really willing?"
"I originally beca a makeup artist because I was having a spat with my brother. He insisted I study finance, so in a fit of anger, I secretly signed up for a makeup course. After graduating, I joined a film crew on my own. He probably thinks if he controls too much, I’ll rebel more, so he just let be. I actually don’t care what I do. Anyway, I’ll have my big brother to support ."
Talking about her brother, Amanda’s face showed a bit of unconscious pride.
Aurelia’s thoughts strayed for a mont. Watching Amanda smile while talking about her brother, she suddenly rembered her own past self.
Also proudly speaking of another man.

In her mind appeared that gentle face, always looking stern yet helpless whenever he saw her being a little silly.
"Aurelia, what are you thinking about?" Amanda asked, noticing Aurelia had been silent for a while and looking over, saw her staring blankly into space.
She thought maybe Aurelia found her chatter annoying.
Feeling embarrassed, Amanda scratched her head, "Anyway, you don’t have to worry. I don’t have any of those concerns you ntioned. Even if I lose my job, I have my big brother to support . Hehe, I’m not afraid."
Aurelia chuckled softly, "Is your brother single? What if he finds a sister-in-law for you or gets married? Can he still support you like that? I fear your relationship might grow distant. It’s always more reliable to rely on yourself."
"Of course he can!" Amanda declared confidently, "If he dares to abandon for a sister-in-law, I’ll sever our familial ties!"
After saying this, Amanda habitually glanced around, then exhaled.
Aurelia, seeing her being so cautious, asked puzzled, "What are you looking at?"
Amanda complained, "I accidentally told my brother those exact words the other day. He imdiately bought a ticket to fly back. If he heard say that, he’d definitely scold again."
"Having a brother who loves you so much, you should feel happy. If I hear you keep talking like this, I’ll start suspecting you’re deliberately ’showing off your affection,’" Aurelia teased.
"No way!" Amanda puffed up her cheeks, blushing furiously, "That scoundrel! I wish he’d stay in M Nation and never return, so I don’t have to see his annoying, cocky face!"
"You see, there you go ’showing off your affection’ again. If I didn’t know you were talking about your brother, I’d think you were talking about your sweetheart."
Seeing Amanda flustered and at a loss for words, Aurelia chuckled and returned to the main topic, "So, since you don’t have those concerns, would you like to be my agent?"
"The company plans to assign a new agent to , but I want to terminate my contract with the company. I urgently need my own agent. If you’re willing to beco one, I’d be very happy. Don’t worry about the salary; I guarantee it’ll be more than you’re currently earning. Plus, with my current situation, your workload won’t be heavy. Just manage my schedule and communicate well with the production crew."
