But this casual glance caught Aurelia’s chilling, mysterious eyes. It felt as if you suddenly realized soone was watching your every move from behind all along.
An intense chill raced down her spine, the servant shivered involuntarily, quickly lowered her head, and rushed towards the door with the plates.
At this mont, she felt as if there’s a wild beast chasing her from behind, even the atmosphere of the room turned sinister and terrifying, lest sothing unholy is lurking inside.
"Wait."
As she hurried to the door, a slightly lazy and clear voice sounded.
Though she ant to leave quickly, her feet instinctively obeyed the command to stop. Not daring to turn back, she asked tremblingly:
"Young Madam, is there anything else you need?"
Her attitude, noticeably more respectful and deferential than when she first entered.
Aurelia didn’t even spare her a glance, tapping the keyboard, asking indifferently: "Where’s Mason Nightshade?"
"The Master went to the company." The servant quickly replied, not daring to slack.
"You may go." Aurelia gave a contemptuous smirk.
Mason remains unchanged as ever, still avoids her like the plague, just as in the past life.
She was worried about encountering him over breakfast; perhaps before she even awoke, he had already left.
Indeed, more than anyone else, he doesn’t want to see her.
Aurelia retracted the coldness in her eyes, fingers quickly typing a few words to send to Viscount Zhou.
