Taking a closer look at their figures and appearances, although their faces were pixelated, Aurelia Shaw recognized at first glance that this man was Mason Nightshade!
"You said I went out last night?" Aurelia recalled what the housekeeper had ntioned.
The housekeeper didn't know why the Young Madam suddenly asked this, but still answered truthfully, "You went out with the Young Master in the car late last night."
The Young Madam seems a bit off today, should I tell the Young Master?
Mason had previously instructed her to carefully observe the Young Madam's every move in the morning. If she noticed anything unusual or out of place, she was to report it to him.
The Young Master had said this with a very serious and tense expression.
The people in the photo were indeed her and Mason Nightshade, she couldn't mistake them. But why didn't she rember anything about what happened last night?
Could Mason Nightshade be up to sothing?
"Where is Mason?" He must know sothing!
"The Young Master is in the guest room upstairs..." The housekeeper's words were cut short as she saw Aurelia rushing upstairs, murmuring her unfinished sentence, "...taking a shower."
Aurelia knocked on the guest room door, waited for a mont with no response, then pushed the door open and entered.
The room was empty.
Strange.
Didn't the housekeeper say he was in the guest room?
Aurelia was about to leave when the bathroom door clicked open, and Mason ca out, a towel wrapped around his waist. Seeing Aurelia, he froze, the tips of his ears slightly reddened, and even his voice carried a hint of an unnatural quiver, "W-why are you here?"
Suddenly, last night's scenes flashed through her mind.
Could she still not be awake? Mason hoped it was like this in his heart, but seeing Aurelia turn around, looking at him with those indifferent eyes that had no fluctuation, he knew she was already awake.
"Do you need sothing from ?"
Feeling dejected, Mason's voice carried a slight deepness, his brows furrowed, and he turned his face slightly to the side, not wanting to expose his true emotions in front of her.
Aurelia misunderstood his reaction, thinking he was showing impatience towards her, so she got straight to the point without any hesitation, "Did we go out together last night?"
Mason looked at her in surprise.
Grayson had told him that sleepwalkers wouldn't rember their sleepwalking incidents, and even if they had vague mories, they would think they were dreaming and not pay it any mind.
Could she rember... does that an she wasn't sleepwalking?
While Mason was deep in thought, Aurelia coldly spoke first, "I asked the housekeeper about it, and moreover..."
She paused, held her phone up to Mason, "Next ti when you do such things, if you don't want to be discovered, could you handle it more cleanly and at least not leave such obvious evidence?"
Mason didn't understand what she ant by this. He glanced at the phone screen, his expression stunned, but seeing the envious and congratulatory comnts below, a subtle arch ford at the corners of his thin, cold lips.
Mason pressed down the lifted corners of his mouth, raised his brows, and with his long, narrow eyes, gave Aurelia a sidelong glance.
His voice was deep and rich, pleasing to the ear.
"So, you think I did sothing to you last night and ca here to confront ?"
"What else?" Aurelia similarly raised a brow, her almond-shaped eyes bold and unrestrained, carrying a hint of seductive allure as if she had just woken up.
Mason's heart skipped a beat.
He took a step forward.
Aurelia frowned and stepped back a little.
