"Aurelia, I'll find another ti to discuss the contract with you. I'm busy inside, so I'm going in now," Sawyer said.
"Okay." Aurelia nodded to Sawyer, then turned to look at Eliza, scrutinizing her from head to toe.
Eliza felt a chill run from her feet to her head. She clutched her purse tightly and took two steps back, eyeing Aurelia warily.
"What... what do you want to do?"
Aurelia smiled, her crimson lips curving into a captivating arc. Though simply and cleanly dressed, her eyes shone with a chilling light. Such contrasting beauty appeared on her, creating a unique allure that sent shivers down one's spine, yet it was impossible to look away.
Eliza swallowed, feeling for the first ti that the aura about Aurelia was so formidable.
Instinctively, she looked around and caught sight of a cara in the corner, feeling a bit relieved.
She backed up further, seemingly threatened from the cara's view, but from Aurelia's perspective, it looked like a provocative gaze.
Aurelia's eyes widened faintly, and she stepped forward two paces.
A sly, cold light flickered in Eliza's eyes. Suddenly, Aurelia halted her steps, smiling brilliantly, "Do you think I would fall for your trap?"
"What?" Eliza's expression stiffened.
"Apparently, the restroom incident didn't teach you a lesson. I don't like provoking others, but I dislike others provoking even more. A small lesson doesn't seem to be sufficient for you," Aurelia said, her red lips parting lightly. "Do you want to know how I got the role of Alina?"
Eliza's eyes flickered. She wanted to know, but feared Aurelia might play so trick, struggling intensely within before finally walking over slowly.
Aurelia leaned close to her ear, her breath brushing gently past Eliza's earlobe, her crimson lips curving into an arc. Suddenly, she quickly backed away as if abruptly pushed.
Eliza was montarily stunned.
Amanda rushed forward upon seeing this but noticed Aurelia seed fine, without the embarrassnt of being pushed. Her eyes grew slightly cold, carrying a bit of chilling indifference.
Actually, from her angle, it was clear Aurelia was fine, but instinctively, Amanda prioritized Aurelia's safety.
"Think before you act," Aurelia said indifferently. "That scene just now was fully recorded by the surveillance cara. It's best not to provoke . Although it's not a heated topic, you wouldn't want a blemish, would you?"
That was a threat!
Yes! Definitely a threat!
Amanda thought. If this happened to anyone else, she'd consider it shaful. But as it was Aurelia, she found it particularly majestic and imposing.
She truly was her idol.
If Foster Fuller knew his sister had such thoughts, he would probably be furious again.
After Aurelia left, Eliza glared angrily at the direction she disappeared for a long ti before taking out her phone and dialing a number, "Hello, darling, you promised the leading role would be mine, so why did it suddenly beco Aurelia's role? I don't care; I want to play the lead..."
Seeing Aurelia co out from the building, Mason opened the car door, about to get out. But recalling sothing, he sat back down, waiting for her to get in and turned to look at her.
"How was it?"
Although he guessed the result, he still wanted to ask.
"Passed, passed!" Aurelia didn't answer, and Amanda excitedly replied as she got in the car, then worriedly asked Aurelia, "Aurelia, do you think the director heard those things I said earlier?"
That would be so awkward.
Who knew he'd actually hide behind and eavesdrop on their conversation?
