Bang——!
The massive collision made her internal organs ache, shards of glass slicing across her face, neck, and arms, blood on her forehead blurring her vision. She felt like she was on a roller coaster, flipping over repeatedly, with large swathes of blood staining half of her face red.
Her pale arm hung powerlessly on the shattered window fra, Blood Pearl dripped from her fingertips onto the ground.
Five or six tall n clad in black erged from the car that hit her, surveyed her condition, and rudely dragged her out of the vehicle.
Aurelia Shaw retained a thread of consciousness, only sensing the figures swaying before her, a strong sense of danger surrounding her, sothing she was unusually attuned to.

She drew the knife from her leg and fiercely slashed at the man's arm.

"Ah—! That little bitch!" The man clutched his injured hand, his face pale, leaning against the car in pain.
His companion imdiately seized Aurelia Shaw's wrist. If Aurelia Shaw were in a normal state, they might hesitate a bit, but who would fear soone who couldn't even stand and was rely holding on by sheer will?
They easily snatched the knife away and tossed it aside.
Fearing Aurelia Shaw might try another trick, a rough hand clamped around her throat, dragging her toward the car.
Aurelia Shaw grabbed a shard of glass from the ground, the sharp edge cutting into her palm. The crimson blood stained her slender fingers, the pain jolting her back to awareness, her opened eyes cold and devoid of emotion, an icy killing intent seeping into her dark and profound eyes.

"Ah!" The man cried out in pain, clutching his bleeding arm, his anger-filled eyes glaring viciously at Aurelia Shaw.
She wore a white shirt and black jeans, the shirt stained red with blood, her half fair yet coldly beautiful face dyed with her blood. Her almond-shaped eyes glinted coldly, the inky pupils reflecting the figures of several n.
Clearly, she could barely stand, yet they felt a tightening in their throats, as if their breath was being constricted.
"Damn!" The one-eyed man cursed, "She's just a damn woman, look at you all, scared shitless, beaten by a woman, how can you even face anyone!"
Leaning against the wrecked car, Aurelia Shaw thought carefully: The car was wrecked and couldn't be driven. There was no one around, and on this stretch of road, cars rarely passed by.

This was a preditated attack.
"Who hired you? I'll pay triple." Aurelia Shaw squinted her eyes calmly, steadying her breath, trying to reduce the blood loss. She could barely remain conscious, her injured arm hard to lift... this was going to be a tough fight.
And it was against professionals.
Her fingers tightened imperceptibly, using the pain to keep herself alert.
The one-eyed man spat on the ground, "Even ten tis the money is useless, I suggest you just co with us quietly, save yourself the trouble of getting hurt when we start roughing you up, you delicate thing."
Aurelia Shaw caught the keyword; it seed they didn't intend to kill her imdiately, perhaps planning to use her to threaten soone.
She exhaled with so relief; as long as they had a purpose, her safety was temporarily assured, but... even so, she couldn't relax. If they caught her, who knew what might happen? Judging by their stance, they weren't going to let her go. The only possibility was to hope for soone passing by, or for help to arrive.
