"I can't help you with this." Aurelia directly refused, "But I will pass on your dream of getting rich." She couldn't help but tease.
After hanging up the phone, she found both Mason Nightshade and Grandpa watching her.
She continued eating, unperturbed, "I registered a company. It's just starting, and I asked him to help expedite the approval."
"Hey, little Aurelia, aren't you under Mason Nightshade's company? Why are you suddenly starting your own company?" Kai Nightshade still wasn't aware she'd terminated her contract with Mason's company.
Aurelia also didn't want Grandpa to worry too much about her, so she smiled and said, "I want to develop my own career. I always felt that just sticking to the entertainnt industry was too limiting, so I figured I might as well start my own company. Grandpa, you know I have a playful nature and don't like being restrained, so I had to beco my own boss."
Kai Nightshade chuckled a few tis, "You child."
Turning to Mason Nightshade, he said fiercely, "Help your wife with as much as you can with her company, do you hear ?"
"I understand, Grandpa." Mason Nightshade agreed obediently, looking at her, "Is there any problem with the funding? Entertainnt companies spend a lot, without stable financial support, it's hard to sustain. If you need, I can..."
"I've already solved it." Aurelia interrupted his eager words.
Mason Nightshade was silent for a long ti, quietly eating, but it was obvious that his "ears" and "tail" drooped down in disappointnt. Oh... cannot even help his wife with the company, such a failure! No motivation to make money anymore!
"Oh, right." Aurelia suddenly rembered, "Knox wants you to put in a good word for him with the President's court."
"Hmph, he thinks highly of himself. If I really vouched for him, he wouldn't be able to keep his position. Besides, he's offended a petty man now, and that man is searching for ways to bring him down everywhere. Helping Knox at this mont is like pushing him into a hot pot."
Aurelia didn't know about these things, she was just responsible for conveying Knox's request to Mason Nightshade.
At night, Mason Nightshade was once again sent to sleep on the couch. Taking advantage of the late night, he secretly slipped to the side of the bed. Knowing she was alert, she probably already woke up, he cradled the little teddy bear she often hugged in his arms, sat on the ground beside the bed, and whispered, "Wife, why did you suddenly decide to start a company?"

Aurelia said nothing.

He got into bed, sensed the person beside him freeze, and just as she was about to push him away, he didn't give her a chance to react. He pressed his lips against hers, his intense breath stifling her own, domineering and irresistible. He lifted her chin, fingers cupped her jaw, forbidding her to clench her teeth.
Aurelia had already sensed soone breathing beside her. She guessed it was Mason Nightshade; he pulled this stunt every night. She couldn't be bothered to pay attention to him - after a while, he'd leave on his own.
