Returning to the room, just as she pushed open the door, a deep, husky voice suddenly rang out.
"Where did you go?"
Aurelia Shaw was startled and turned on the light. The room instantly beca bright, revealing a tall man lounging on the sofa, legs apart. His hair was tousled, shirt crumpled and missing two buttons. Despite his handso face showing fatigue, his eyes were very red, emanating a gloomy, sinister aura.
Aurelia looked at the man in a daze, for a mont thinking she had mistaken him for soone else.
She had never seen Mason Nightshade like this before.
In her impression, Mason Nightshade was an aristocrat, aloof and noble, never initiating conversations with others. There was sothing deeply mysterious in his gaze, making it impossible to fathom. Steady and profound, he excelled in any field, and his brilliance was impossible to ignore.
Back when she was in M Nation, it was this very quality that attracted her to him, drawing her in, unable to extricate herself.

Mason reached out a hand towards her, his eyes deep as an abyss, as if a vortex lurked beneath, ready to draw her in.

"What did I say during dinner? Don’t leave without permission! Don’t go to places I can’t see you, and don’t disappear without telling !"
"You never said those things," Aurelia frowned, correcting him.
"Well, I’m saying them now. From now on, don’t go anywhere I can’t find you."
"What nonsense is this? It was you who didn’t want to make our relationship public before, and now you’re in my room. What is it you really want?" Aurelia demanded sharply.
"I was foolish before, but now I want to change. There’s nothing to hide about our relationship. If it gets discovered, then we make it public," Mason murmured softly, like a child greedily inhaling the faint fragrance on Aurelia.
At his words, Aurelia knit her brows.
"I don’t care what nonsense you’re on about or what sches you’re plotting, but this is my career. You may not care about our marriage, and that’s fine by . But have you ever considered what consequences revealing our relationship would have on my future in the entertainnt industry?"
Mason frowned.
He really disliked her using the words "not care" to describe their marriage.
In the past, he might have had that mindset, but now things are different. He was no longer the Mason Nightshade from before and would never let her go again!
