Aurelia looked at Mason's face, almost without hesitation, turned around and sat back inside the car, fastening her seatbelt.
Mason, seeing she had done all this, stepped hard on the accelerator, overtook her car, glanced at the approaching turn, and suddenly jerked the steering wheel.
The car scraped the front of the car behind.
The screeching sound of the brakes "screech—" rang out, dangerously pushing the car behind to the roadside, forcing it to stop.
Mason unbuckled the seatbelt, ignoring his disheveled suit, he strode towards Aurelia's car, his steps urgent.
Aurelia was dizzy from the crash, her mind went blank for a mont, squinting her eyes, she saw Mason appear in front of her, the light behind him making his entire figure appear fuzzy.
Mason carried Aurelia out.
"How are you? Are you hurt anywhere?" Mason's usually calm voice carried a rare trace of tension and panic.
He tried hard to suppress it, but the tail end of his voice still carried a slight tremble, revealing the anxiety and fear he felt just now.
Aurelia shook her head, her head still dizzy, she leaned in Mason's arms, breathing in the faint scent of lemon emanating from his suit, finding it not at all repulsive.
