Mason Nightshade's gaze was very dark, especially in the night, truly like a wolf's eyes.
Aurelia Shaw wasn't afraid of him like this.
She grabbed Mason's hair and tugged upwards, trying to make him move away.

"You're seducing ," Mason said softly, his gaze heavy, eyes locked on Aurelia, his tone affirmative.

Aurelia thought about it and then suddenly laughed.
She was indeed seducing him.
Purposefully setting him on fire, but not giving him anything.
"Even if I am, so what?" Aurelia raised an arrogant brow and looked at Mason.
This arrogant and capricious little face made Mason's heart race wildly, his lips pressed down hard again, a low growl erged from his throat, "I'm going to eat you up!"
"ow!"
Aurelia hadn't moved yet, when suddenly a startled cat's cry rang out.
In the heat of the mont, neither noticed that Aurelia was still holding... a cat.
As Mason pressed down, he directly crushed the cat beneath him, before he could react, pain shot through his hand, the fur-raising cat's claws were upright, eyes glowing ominously in the darkness filled with hostility toward him.
Mason: "..."
Aurelia: "..."
"Pfft," a light laugh sounded.
Aurelia pushed the rigid Mason off her, laughing so hard on the sofa she bent double.

Mason shot a furious glance at the schadenfreude-laden Aurelia.

She glanced up at Mason, noticing he was staring at the cat with eyes full of murderous intent and chill.

Mason turned to look at her, seeing her eyes filled with laughter, the anger pent up in his chest dissipating sowhat.
Rarely did he see her laugh so happily, was she gradually letting go of past things?
He shot a chilling glance at the cat.

The cat couldn't understand Mason's words but could detect danger in his gaze, fur standing up, claws extended, watching Mason vigilantly, teeth barred.
Aurelia watched the drama between the man and the cat, unable to suppress her laughter.
