Aurelia Shaw closed the cetery exit and returned the way she ca.
As she reached the entrance, she heard a cheerful greeting, "Miss Shaw." It was the employee who was planting flowers here during the day.
Aurelia furrowed her delicate brows, looked at him puzzled, and asked with concern, "Are you still working at night?"
The man chuckled awkwardly, scratching his head, "I left my shovel here in the evening, just passing by to get it. It's so late, why are you at the cetery, Miss Shaw?"
"There's a little wild cat here, I suddenly rembered it and ca to feed it, but this little wild cat is quite unruly, almost bit ." Aurelia said with a thoughtful smile.
The man, being simple and rough, didn't notice those details. Upon hearing this, he imdiately said, "Wild cats are never grateful creatures. It's quite sothing that Miss Shaw ca out here for it at night, too ungrateful indeed."
"Yes, indeed a little cat that doesn't appreciate. Let's not talk about it. It's quite late now; you shouldn't linger too long here. Even if ghosts and spirits aren't scientific, this place feels quite eerie at night. You should head back early."
Aurelia waved goodbye to the employee and drove away from the cetery.
Watching her back as she left, the employee had a hint of infatuation in his eyes, sighing, "Miss Shaw is truly beautiful and kind, whoever marries her would indeed be very lucky."
Just then, he suddenly heard a whining sound, and the man shivered, glancing around and feeling this place was indeed quite strange at night.
Not daring to stay any longer, he picked up his things and quickly left.
As soon as Aurelia returned ho, she was intercepted by Clara Philips.
"Where did you go tonight?" Clara questioned harshly, and seeing the mischievous look in Aurelia's peach blossom eyes, she swallowed and cowered, putting on a flattering smile.
"Auntie is just concerned about you. It's not safe to go out at night, especially for a young girl like you. You're a big celebrity; aren't you afraid of causing so scandal going out so late?"
"The biggest scandal on is this complex family relationship at ho. As long as you stay in line and stop flaunting yourself, it would be the greatest favor to ." Aurelia chuckled lightly.
She then added, "Don't forget, when you moved in, my dad neither held a wedding nor got a marriage certificate with you."
"Others may call you Mrs. Shaw out of respect, but you know deep down whether you're truly the lady of this house."
With that, Aurelia went upstairs.
Clara staggered a couple of steps, almost losing her balance, her face turned pale, lips trembling, and hands shaking.
She took out her phone, found the number she didn't dial last ti, and called it again.
She had to figure sothing out, as her ti at this ho might not last much longer.
Aurelia went to bed early that night. She had a business event to attend the next day, not as an artist, but as the president of Royal Friendship Entertainnt Corporation. However, since it was a gathering of artists and investors, no one questioned her identity.
But due to the buzz around her divorce from Mason Nightshade, everyone in the entertainnt and business circles knew about it. People still showed a great deal of interest in this popular starlet.
"Mr. Leigh, have you thought about what I ntioned?" The person standing in front of her was Stephen Leigh, one of the people Mason introduced to her at the shooting club that day.
Stephen swirled his glass, unlike his private self, he appeared more ticulous in his work mode, carrying the sharp aura typical of a businessman.
