Aurelia Shaw noticed a red lipstick mark on his shoulder and reached out to wipe it off for him.
Mason Nightshade turned his head, sensing sothing.
He glanced at her first, then saw the lipstick mark on his clothes, his face instantly darkening. Almost instinctively, he blurted out, "This lipstick mark has nothing to do with !"
Huh?
Aurelia Shaw looked at him puzzled.
She knew it had nothing to do with him; it was from her.
But Mason Nightshade thought she didn’t believe him and said in a deep voice, "Damn it! Where did this thing co from? The elevator? It’s a private elevator; this kind of thing wouldn’t happen. I don’t know how this lipstick mark got on either."
Was he explaining to her?
It was only then that Aurelia Shaw realized this. Her heart pounded fiercely, and when she looked at Mason Nightshade, her gaze deepened, filled with continued, complex darkness.
"Mason Nightshade, pull over to the roadside," she said in a calm voice.
Mason Nightshade, thinking she was angry, explained, "I really don’t know where this lipstick mark ca from. It might have accidentally gotten on . Don’t overthink it, okay?"
"If you don’t believe , should I call Gustavo Yates? Or would you like to call him yourself?"
"Pull over to the roadside," Aurelia Shaw repeated.
Mason Nightshade glanced at her and complied.
The car pulled over to the roadside.
Outside, snowflakes danced in the air, coating the road with a layer of white.
Aurelia Shaw, with a cold expression, unfastened her seatbelt.
Mason Nightshade’s fingers tightened, lips pressed into a thin line, and his hand resting beside him barely twitched, restraining himself from grabbing her wrist. Suddenly, a blur passed before his eyes. Startled, when he saw who it was, his pupils shrank sharply, and then there was warmth on his lips.
Thump!
Aurelia Shaw could hear her heart pounding faster and faster, her nervous fingers trembling, so she wrapped her arms tightly around Mason Nightshade’s neck, clutching his shoulders to avoid him seeing her distress.
Upon returning to this world, she had resolved to stay away from this man, but now... she was too impulsive. She didn’t know whether she would regret this later.
Perhaps... it was another moth to the fla?
Aurelia Shaw had kissed Mason Nightshade on a whim, their lips touching, eyes glaring intensely at each other, with neither taking it further. But now that she cald down, her face flushed with a blush.
All she could think of was giving herself a good beating.
Aurelia Shaw! What are you doing right now!

Annoyance flickered through her heart. Just as she was about to pull away, a large hand suddenly cradled the back of her head, and before their lips parted even slightly, they were pressed back together. The man’s breath was fiery, no longer just lips touching, his dominant presence quickly invading her mouth!
"Snap!" the seatbelt unbuckled.
