Aurelia Shaw stared at the sumptuous dishes on the table and asked, "Did you make all of these?"
"No," Mason Nightshade replied, carrying out a plate of food. "I ordered them from your favorite restaurant, and the dishes are your favorite ones."
"Wash your face and co eat."
Aurelia nodded and headed to the bathroom, thinking to herself: During the ti spent with Mason Nightshade, it's been mostly him cooking als, so she had habitually assud he made the dishes.
On second thought, it made sense; how could Mason Nightshade frequently cook? His aura didn't match the vibe of a kitchen.
While eating, Aurelia used her phone to send a ssage to Hadrian Turner, "You can release it now."
Hadrian quickly replied with an "OK" gesture.
Aurelia placed the phone facedown on the table and continued eating.
Though it was just for an instant, Mason Nightshade still caught the fleeting fox-like glint in her eyes. Who was this girl scheming against again?
Nightshade would soon find out the answer.
In the afternoon, Mason Nightshade was working in the office. His phone rang every few minutes, and after Gustavo Yates glanced over for the nth ti, he finally opened it to take a look — the screen was full of entertainnt news push notifications.
He never had the habit of paying attention to the entertainnt industry; however, because of that girl being in it and considering past incidents, he worried she'd get caught up in another scandal, so he followed a few entertainnt bloggers.
Seeing that the news wasn't about Aurelia Shaw, Mason Nightshade was about to close it when his peripheral vision spotted the words "Stardust," and his pressed finger hesitated in mid-air.
He clicked on it.
"Eliza Fletcher's casting couch video turned out to be fake?! Unbelievable, today I accidentally stumbled upon a video (hehe... you know what I an), and discovered that the actress inside looks similar to the entertainnt star who's been trending these past days. In the pursuit of truth, I pulled up the star's video for comparison and was shocked! They turned out to be two identical videos! [Video]"
Mason Nightshade skipped the video part as he had no interest in it and went straight to the comnts section.
"Hey, I also saw this post; everyone on Weibo is discussing it today," Gustavo Yates's voice suddenly spoke up beside him.
He wondered: Since when did the boss beco interested in this entertainnt gossip? No wonder his phone had been buzzing nonstop this afternoon; the top five trending discussions on Weibo were all about this event.
Mason Nightshade looked up at him.
Gustavo Yates held the files needing his signature against his chest, defending himself, "You asked to keep an eye on Young Madam's news; this Eliza Fletcher is also part of Young Madam's crew, so I paid extra attention when I saw it."
Seeing Nightshade scrolling through the comnts, he muttered softly, "This is probably a deliberate release by Stardust's production team to clear things up, but it's too ineffective, the comnts below are full of doubts about this; they need to steer public opinion to favor Stardust."
