Yeah, in the blink of an eye, she's already grown up and is no longer that little girl who clings to him and needs his protection.
Caspian suddenly feels a sense of emptiness from having missed so much of her life. If he could choose, he definitely wouldn't have left her alone here back then.

"..." Aurelia looks disdainful, "Bro, you should get out more. If you keep staying inside, I'm worried you'll go through nopause early."

Watching Aurelia leave, Caspian is soon surrounded by the supermarket ladies. He knows he's popular, but he didn't expect to be so loved even by the supermarket ladies.
"Young man, was that your girlfriend just now? So pretty, she matches you perfectly." A lady praises.
Caspian's gentle eyes curve, "She's my sister."
"Ah? She's your sister... No wonder she's so good-looking too." The lady laughs awkwardly.

Aurelia gets to the paper products aisle, picking up a few packs of sanitary pads, when suddenly the image of Mason buying sanitary pads for her flashes in her mind.
It's clear it was his first ti doing such a thing.
His dominant face showed an awkward blush, but his eyes stared directly at her until he could clearly see the brand of the pads she was holding, then he turned and walked out.
Why is soone so good at pretending?
Sotis she can't even tell if Mason is acting towards her or if he's genuine. Maybe he's genuine, but there's no way to be sure how much insincerity is mixed into this sincerity.
Aurelia calms her emotions and goes back to look for Caspian.
"Aurelia?" A woman's voice suddenly rings out.
Aurelia looks up to see a woman standing in front of her, pushing a shopping cart—it's Alice. She appears much more haggard compared to a few days ago, her hair disheveled, face without makeup, and dressed very casually.
How did she end up looking so downcast after just a few days?
Aurelia vaguely guesses what's going on.
She ignores her, sidestepping her to continue walking.
Alice seems provoked and strides forward to block her path, glaring at her in anger, "Aurelia, stop right there!"
Aurelia's eyebrows furrow subconsciously, "What do you want?"
Alice shivers involuntarily, inexplicably sensing a coldness from Aurelia.
But thinking about what she went through because of her... suspicion is thrown to the back of her mind, as Alice glares at her, wishing she could choke her.
"What did you do? Why did the company cancel all my events? Did you do sothing behind my back, did you badmouth to Mr. Nightshade?"
She sneers, "You act so arrogant, turns out you're just soone who likes to sche behind others. You're just as dirty as us, don't pretend to be so noble!"
Alice mocks her, and seeing no reaction, anger surges within her, she raises her hand, aiming to slap her with all her might...
The sound of the slap has yet to fall.
A slender and beautifully fair hand, from behind, grabs Alice's wrist!
Caspian's fingers curl, increasing the strength, his usually gentle eyes filled with deep darkness, his voice icy:
"Miss, you should talk things out properly. It's very impolite to resort to violence, isn't it?"
His words are polite, yet his voice is like shattered ice.
Alice shivers, turning her head to see Caspian's gloomy yet stunning face, feeling a mix of awe and a sudden jolt in her heart, the cold sensation at her wrist instantly spreading through her body, numbing her senses.
