"Let's go, ti to get to work." Aurelia sent Mason Nightshade out the door, watched the car drive off, then returned inside, her gaze fixed on the glass of cold milk on the dining table, fingers gently touching her flat belly.
An indescribable emotion spread through her heart.
Child... Child...
She once had one, but then lost it. The feeling of that loss was too painful, so painful that she never wanted to experience it a second ti.
She believed Mason Nightshade; it definitely wasn't him who caused her to lose the child. That was undoubtedly a lie Eleanor Spencer told—a lie that plunged her heart into Hell, where even death was unwilling, forever being trampled beneath her feet.

Amanda Fuller picked her up to go to the airport. On the way, they passed a pharmacy, and Aurelia asked Amanda Fuller to stop the car. She put on sunglasses and a hat, got out, and went into the pharmacy.

Aurelia bought a bottle of birth control pills from the staff.
Seeing the pill bottle in her hand, Amanda Fuller was taken aback, staring at Aurelia in shock, opened her mouth to say sothing but suddenly rembered that this was a pharmacy, unsuitable for discussing these matters.
She followed Aurelia back to the car. Just as she was about to speak, Aurelia suddenly said, "Give a bottle of water."
She handed her the water.
Aurelia poured out a pill, and with the water, swallowed it.
"Aurelia..." Amanda Fuller spoke softly, "This is..."
Aurelia said with a smile, "I've moved in with Mason Nightshade, but for now, I don't want children. Having kids would affect my upcoming filming, which is sothing artists avoid the most. Now, I haven't officially broken into the industry yet, can't afford to wait for a downti."
Amanda Fuller understood, looking at her, hesitated a bit, but still asked, "Have you ntioned this to Mr. Night?"
She really hoped the two would reconcile, but she always felt that Mr. Night wouldn't agree to this sort of thing. It's clear Mr. Night really likes Aurelia, and when soone likes another, they hope for a mutual child.
Aurelia froze for a mont.
Seeing her pause, Amanda Fuller knew.
She smirked and said, "I'll gradually communicate with him later. This ti we're going to be with the filming crew for several months. Once this movie is done, I'll tell him about it."
Amanda Fuller felt a bit uneasy, always fearing sothing might happen, but seeing Aurelia's insistence, and indeed pregnancy greatly impacts an artist's developnt. As her agent, considering the future of the artist, she also hoped she wouldn't get pregnant at this ti.
"Well, let's hope nothing goes wrong." She glanced at Aurelia, seeing her close her eyes, head leaning against the backseat, her beautiful face unreadable, yet she felt there was a hint of responsibility she couldn't understand.
Maybe she was overthinking, "Will you remarry Mr. Night?"
As her agent, these things needed to be asked.
Aurelia opened her eyes, "Let's see after we spend more ti together again. We've been apart for too long, and have gone through quite a lot. I don't mind whether we marry or not; if two people truly like each other, not marrying isn't a big deal."
