Eleanor Spencer walked forward, suddenly feeling her dress was heavy and dragging, turning around, she locked eyes with Aurelia Shaw's cold, seductive gaze.
Aurelia Shaw sneered and walked up to her, coldly whispering, "All you're capable of is playing little tricks from behind, huh? But you're pitiable, really. The man you like doesn't like you back, so to satisfy your pitiful desires, you resort to underhanded tactics, like a filthy dead rat in the sewer, utterly disgusting, reeking of stench."
"You!" Eleanor Spencer's face suddenly changed color.
Aurelia Shaw smiled while reminding her, "Not thinking of continuing your gentle and considerate facade? If you get angry here, all your years of effort will be in vain. Not that I care, I'm always this arrogant. Hardly any positive news about anyway, worst case, a few more scandals, no big deal if I clean it up later."
"But you, well, the pure and sweet potential Best Actress, losing her temper in public, sounds like a spectacle; the internet users would certainly enjoy that."
Eleanor Spencer glanced around, taking several deep breaths to suppress her anger.
But Aurelia Shaw wasn't going to let her off that easily. Her words grew sharper, "You think poisoning my makeup would ruin , destroy my face? Pathetic, really, for I caught on. Guess who that scared little makeup artist will testify against?"
Eleanor's face turned pale imdiately, "Why... why are you telling this! What does it have to do with , it wasn't who had soone poison your makeup!"
"Is that right?" Aurelia Shaw laughed and retorted, "Is it or isn't it? We can find out soon enough, but are you ready for prison? I've heard there's just a wooden bucket for a toilet, rats crawling everywhere, biting your feet at night, crawling on your face."
Eleanor's face turned deathly pale, her shaking hands hidden within her wide sleeves clenched into fists.
She didn't even know how she ended up beneath the cara.
Nancy Carter noticed Eleanor looking a bit off. She had seen Eleanor and Aurelia whispering a lot earlier, could it be that woman said sothing bad to Eleanor again?
Aurelia Shaw, dressed as a Palace Maid, stood to the left of Andrew Kennedy, while Eleanor Spencer, with an air of majesty, stood on the right. Her deanor was contained, but within it was an undeniable presence. In contrast, Eleanor's regal garnts seed a misfit on her; she appeared scattered, her gaze drifting, her expression out of sorts, absent-minded.
After a few test shots, Adam couldn't take it anymore.
"Caleb, are you sure she's the lead actress for this drama?" Adam seriously questioned Eleanor's professionalism, wondering how soone who appeared so lackluster in her still photos could lead such a highly anticipated series.
Caleb was slightly troubled as well.
Eleanor's current state was certainly off, but he knew enough to recognize that Aurelia had been overpowering Eleanor all along. He could see it; after they'd whispered for a good while earlier, Eleanor was visibly unsettled, likely already drawn into Aurelia's rhythm.
Eleanor was still too inexperienced.
It's really strange, Eleanor has been in the industry for quite a few years, even nominated for Best Actress, yet her acting skills still can't surpass a newcor?
Though a newcor, Aurelia is remarkable, but not unmanageable for experienced actors. Andrew Kennedy, as a peer, never loses composure before Aurelia.
