If this is true, then Aurelia Shaw is really ruthless. Originally, I thought she was just a bit spoiled, but I didn't expect her heart to be so vicious.
Aurelia Shaw, the person in question, furrowed her delicate brows and spoke in confusion, "What does this an?"
The victim, Eleanor Spencer, couldn't hold on and fainted, wanting to say a few more words to falsely accuse Aurelia Shaw, but she didn't get the chance to speak.
Adam noticed Aurelia Shaw's confusion and took the initiative to speak. He was a very gentlemanly man, always offering a helping hand when he saw a lady in trouble. "Although I don't know what that lady ant, Aurelia Shaw has been here with discussing photography and couldn't have been the one to injure that lady. The injury is so severe, yet the details of the incident are unclear. Does the lady really not know if her injury is real or fake?"
Aurelia Shaw wanted to applaud Adam. He truly understood the situation. However, if she hadn't set the ti in advance, he might have seen through it.
She secretly felt a bit fortunate.
Luckily, Eleanor Spencer passed out, otherwise, risking her life to put on a show only to have her intentions exposed would have made her so furious she might have spit blood.
Nancy Carter looked embarrassed, her face grim with seriousness written all over it. "Could it be that Isabel Bennett cut her own neck just to fra her?"
Adam shook his head. "That's not what I an. It's just that there is sothing very strange about this incident. You say it was Aurelia Shaw who hurt her, but Aurelia has been here with discussing photography."
"I don't believe she hasn't left even for a mont." She had seen Aurelia Shaw at the hallway entrance. This Adam had only t Aurelia once. Why was he defending her?
Adam furrowed his brow and thought for a mont before speaking frankly, "Except for the ti she went to the restroom, but what can be done in a restroom break? I'm not heartless to believe she could hurt soone like that, then calmly sit here discussing photography with ."
"Exactly! It was during the ti she went to the restroom!" Nancy Carter was very sure of herself. There was no way she misread it. Aurelia Shaw used so ans to earn Mr. Adam's trust, but if there was a gap in ti, that definitely was the mont.
Adam furrowed his brow. "I still find it hard to believe soone could do such a thing in such a short ti. Whatever the case, let's wait for the police to investigate and clarify the situation. Before the results are out, it's better not to jump to conclusions."
"Mr. Adam, you don't understand us in Country Z. People who do such malicious things often have psychological problems. If she's allowed to go unpunished, the likelihood of soone else getting hurt is high."
Adam was in a dilemma. He truly didn't know much about issues in Country Z and could only speak about what he knew.
"Unless," Nancy Carter continued, "she can explain where she went during that ti, what she was doing, and if there are any witnesses."
Noticing everyone's gaze falling on her, Aurelia Shaw pondered montarily. Finding an excuse was easy, as was finding a witness. Just as she was about to speak, a familiar deep, steady voice rang out—
"She was with ."
Mason Nightshade?
Aurelia Shaw turned around to see the man standing behind her. He had a tall and imposing stature, exuding a sharp and authoritative aura like a wolf. His dark eyes were deep and profound. He stepped forward, stopping behind her, forming a protective wall.
