"Yes, Mason!" Gustavo Yates responded with enthusiasm, turning the steering wheel.
Aurelia Shaw felt the atmosphere in the car change, suddenly tensing up, as if sothing hot-blooded was rapidly pulsating within her heated veins.
She asked Mason Nightshade, "Where are we going?"
Mason glimpsed her reddened eye corners again, his heart aching in knots, his voice involuntarily laced with a cold killing intent, "To catch the one who hurt you."
So they found them this quickly?
The car sped on, but it would take so ti to reach their destination.
Mason twisted open a bottle of water, "Remove the makeup from your face."
"With just this?" Aurelia raised an eyebrow, looking at the makeshift bottle in his hand.
"What else do you need?" Mason frowned; he didn't understand the myriad jars and bottles won used, though he had seen her use sothing special to remove makeup.
"Where's my bag?" Aurelia said helplessly.
Mason handed her bag over to her.
Aurelia took out her makeup remover and wipes, poured it onto the cotton, and placed it over her eyes.
Mason watched the entire process anxiously, frowning with disapproval, "Won't that irritate the poisoned area on your skin?"
Aurelia laughed at him, "I bought non-irritating, harmless makeup remover."
Mason silently noted this, planning to buy her a lot of non-irritating makeup remover later.
The car arrived at its destination.
Aurelia and Mason got out of the car, and he held her close, not letting her approach, directing Dylan Harper and the others to confirm the situation first.
Dealing with a woman didn't require guns or anything; Dylan climbed through a window while Rocco Cooper pried open the door. Six was going to mimic Dylan and climb in but chose to walk through the opened door instead.
Before long, Rocco Cooper walked out, "Mason, it's done. We've got her."
Did they actually capture her this quickly? None of them were on the scene, and she had asked the staff, knowing that woman wasn't their makeup artist, unknown, unidentifiable, could they really find her?
With suspicion in her heart, Aurelia, holding Mason's hand, walked in, and upon seeing the person bound on the floor, she completely changed her perspective on their abilities.
Their skills were stronger than she had comprehended.
The woman kneeling on the ground was the sa one who had poisoned her and escaped that morning.
"Is it her?" Mason shifted slightly, keeping Aurelia within his protective range.
Aurelia nodded, facing the woman, "I guess if I asked who instructed you to harm , you wouldn't say anything. These people have more thods than you can imagine. Before you suffer, I advise you to confess."
The woman sneered disdainfully.
Her reaction was expected, and with a light laugh, Aurelia said, "Whether you speak or not doesn't matter. I already know who sent you."
The woman remained stubbornly silent.
Mason gave a signal to Dylan and the others, who imdiately brought out their "tools."
Aurelia frowned slightly, casting an inquiring glance at Mason, "I already know who it is; do we really need to force a confession?"
Mason looked down at her, his eyes dark with intensity, "You may know, but I need a definite answer, and since she dared to harm you, I want her to never forget this pain."
Dylan injected sothing into the woman.
Afraid it might cause her distress, reminding her of past events, Mason took her hand and led her out, waiting in the living room.
