"Aren't you afraid I'll use your phone to do sothing bad?" Aurelia suddenly asked him on a whim.
To soone like him, a mobile phone was a crucial possession, yet he never had any defenses against her. Was he really not worried she'd use his phone to do sothing bad?
Mason Nightshade wrapped his arm around her waist, placed her on his lap, and couldn't help but stroke her long eyelashes with his fingers. He asked in a relaxed voice, "My lady, what kind of mischief do you plan to do with my phone?"
Seeing his carefree attitude, Aurelia suddenly felt like teasing him.
She pondered for a mont and then said, "For instance... using your phone to confess to so young girl."
"Oh? Which one?" Mason's tone shot up, dangerously.
Aurelia wasn't afraid of his reaction. She seriously thought for a mont, "Every ti I go to your company to find you, the female employees there always look at so fiercely. Oh, and last ti, the one who stopped in the restroom. How about I send a confession ssage in your company's group?"
"If the person confessing is you, I might consider it," Mason rembered that incident, and a hint of fierceness flashed in his eyes, "My lady, I've reassigned all the female employees in my secretary team to other departnts. High-level female employees are a bit hard to reassign. Are you intending to have send them all to subsidiary companies?"
"Do I really look like a tiger lady?" Aurelia raised an eyebrow, "If I go to your company later, won't I beco soone that everyone wants to beat up? I wonder how they'll evaluate in private."
"Moreover..." she paused, "Do you want to be stared at by a bunch of n every ti I co to find you?"
Mason only had to imagine the scene and his face darkened, "Absolutely not!"
Aurelia patted his wolf-like head, chuckling softly, "Good boy."
Seeing her so bold and confident, Mason gave a doting yet playful smile, took the phone from her hand, and dialed Adrian Cooper, His Excellency the President's number.
It was a video call.
The screen displayed a handso and stern face; Adrian Cooper was in the presidential office, pressing down a docunt. Upon seeing Mason Nightshade, a hint of warmth appeared in his sharp eyes.
"What's the matter?" He knew that this forr loyal subordinate of his wouldn't call post-retirent unless there was sothing important.
And if he called, it was definitely sothing big.
Mason didn't hide anything from Aurelia, and said in a deep voice, "There's a new organization here. I'm having people investigate—everyone in the organization has an eagle tattoo on their arms, but we don't know what this group is doing, why it was ford, or if it poses any danger to the country."
"I trust you to handle these matters," Adrian said.
"But..." Adrian's voice suddenly dropped, "Mason, when you're reporting to , could you possibly not have your woman in your arms?"
Mason casually raised an eyebrow, "Just because you don't have anyone to hold doesn't an you should bla others."
Who said he didn't have anyone to hold!
Suddenly, a soft female voice chid in, "Is Aurelia there too? Where's Aurelia? Mason, brother, let see Aurelia."
"What's so good about looking at his wife?" Adrian held his own wife in his arms, arrogantly raising an eyebrow at the man on the screen.
Ava Thompson nudged him, "Oh, stop hugging , don't block my view of Aurelia. Where's Aurelia?"
