"Ah---!!!"
Aurelia Shaw rushed to room 288, her hand barely on the doorknob when she heard a woman's scream coming from inside.
That voice was all too familiar to her!
Amanda!
Damn it, the door's locked!
Aurelia kicked the door several tis, but it didn't budge. Mason Nightshade then pulled her aside and kicked it open, and they both stord in.
A large man lay on the bed, seemingly pinning a woman beneath him.
Aurelia's eyes burned with rage as she ran over and kicked the man in the waist.
Knocking him off.
She turned to check on the woman on the bed.
The man rolled twice on the ground, stunned by the unexpected intrusion and the attack.
He staggered as he got up from the ground.
Before he could steady himself, another kick landed on his abdon.
Aurelia looked at the disheveled person on the bed, her eyes red with anger, holding the man down as she rained punch after punch on him, each blow rcilessly delivered without restraint.
Blood splattered, the man's face beaten black and blue, teeth mixed with blood in his mouth, attempting to spit them out, but failing as Aurelia's fists continued to pound his face, leaving half of it crushed inward.
"Swish!" A hand caught her wrist in mid-air, Aurelia glared at Mason Nightshade, who quietly said, "That's enough. Even if you want to kill him, you can't do it here. You can't be the one to do it, understand?"
Aurelia took several deep breaths, closed her eyes briefly, then reopened them, the bloodthirsty look in her eyes faded considerably, and she got up to walk towards the bed.
She picked up Amanda Fuller's clothes from the floor and wrapped them around her.
Amanda's senses were extrely disoriented; she had likely been drugged by this man—damn him! Fortunately, Amanda's inner clothes were still intact, showing no signs of assault; otherwise, Aurelia would never have spared this man!
Aurelia dialed 911.
Although Amanda Fuller's awareness was hazy, she could still subconsciously distinguish between those she could trust and those she couldn't. She didn't resist Aurelia's embrace; in fact, she found it strangely comforting, her scent reassuring, a sign she was safe by her side.
Just as the scent of the man earlier made her nauseous.
She nestled in her embrace, trembling slightly.
Aurelia noticed the marks on Amanda's wrists, her gaze darkening once more.
"Wait here for a mont," she assured Amanda, then stood up and drew the knife strapped to her leg.
The man saw her approaching again, retreating in fear.
Aurelia stepped on his wrist, slicing vertically, the blade probing into the flesh, and through the man's screams found the white tendon, severing it. She then stepped on his other arm and repeated the action.
This woman is a devil, a devil!
The man trembled in pain, wailing for help.
Seeing Aurelia's cold, superior gaze upon him, he suddenly felt hopeless.
No one would co to save him.
These two were demons.
He wished he could pass out from the pain to escape it, but the more he wished, the clearer his consciousness beca—not sure if it was her doing or his unfortunate fate.
This man had infuriated her, crossed her line.
Seeing her finally stop, the man let out a sigh of relief.
But before that sigh was fully released, he saw Aurelia coming back, this ti with a dumbbell in her hand.
Upscale hotels had gyms, but the man wished he hadn't co to such a fancy place.
