This Mason Nightshade, he's really hot-headed. No matter how impressive the Nightshade Family is, he should still consider him a senior, yet he's making him lose face in front of so many people.
Mason Nightshade chuckled coldly, signaling with his eyes for Gustavo Yates to continue, and said softly, "Since Aunt Cymbeline can't control her own mouth, I'll help her rember, so she'll know who she can ss with and who she can't, saving you from trouble in the future."
Nico Spencer tightened his grip.
This was Mason Nightshade's indirect warning to him.
Aurelia Shaw had long known of Mason Nightshade's sharp tongue, so she wasn't surprised to see Nico Spencer unable to respond.
anwhile, Gustavo Yates grabbed Eleanor Spencer's neck. "Slap, slap, slap..." Another ten slaps landed, and her small face imdiately swelled into a pig's head.
Even in such a state, her only thought was how her ugly appearance would be seen by Brother Night.
She pitifully raised her big eyes, looking aggrievedly at Mason Nightshade, "Brother Night, it really wasn't , I, I really didn't..."
She cried uncontrollably, not realizing how comical and repulsive she looked making such an expression with a pig-headed face.
Nico Spencer's temples throbbed with a headache.
Only then did Mason Nightshade lift his eyes to look at her.
Eleanor Spencer's heart leaped with joy. Brother Night really did care about her, didn't he?
However, in the next mont, her hopes were dashed.
Seeing her face swollen like a pig's head, Mason Nightshade's eyes finally showed satisfaction. Then he looked back at Aurelia Shaw's face and frowned again.
Aurelia Shaw didn't understand the aning of his gaze, but she had a vague feeling that the number of slaps Eleanor Spencer received had a lot to do with it.
"Tsk tsk, you got slapped once and returned it ten tis. Mason Nightshade is really fond of you," Viscount Zhou's playful voice sounded in her ear.
Aurelia shivered and turned to glare at him, "Don't talk so close to my ear." Her body was covered in goosebumps.
Viscount Zhou glared at her fiercely, "Aurelia! You ungrateful little thing, I was just helping you out and you didn't even say thanks. Now you're just dismissing ."
"Who said I'm dismissing you? I'm just asking you not to talk behind my ear." Aurelia rubbed her ear, which was very sensitive. The way he spoke to her made her feel very... uncomfortable.
"It's awkward," Aurelia said after a long pause.
Viscount Zhou rolled his eyes; when they were younger, she never complained when he spoke to her like this.
Mason Nightshade was talking to Nico Spencer, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Aurelia Shaw and Viscount Zhou being "chummy", so he frowned and pulled Aurelia to his side.
Aurelia, caught off guard, was suddenly pulled into a strong, familiar embrace, looking up at Mason Nightshade's face.
"Is there anything else? Let's grab a al later. I have sothing to discuss with you," Mason Nightshade asked without changing his expression, pausing before adding, "It's about work."
Aurelia really wanted to pat Mason Nightshade's wolf head.
So obedient, he didn't reveal their relationship at all, just as she requested.
She smiled, "Nothing else."
Seeing Eleanor Spencer and Cymbeline Jennings getting slapped so many tis released the strange frustration in her chest.
"Then let's go eat." Though stated as a fact, his tone was gentle, more like an inquiry.
