"Hey, you've finally co around, planning to get with ? Let tell you, seize the day, dare to et at the hotel, I'll cover the room cost."
"Not interested." Aurelia Shaw replied indifferently, "Do you really think that after seeing countless n in the entertainnt industry, I'd still go for soone like you?"
The Viscount felt an urge to smash sothing, "You heartless little thing! Now that you have Mason Nightshade, you shalessly abandon , right? I'll tell you, even as a ghost, I'll haunt you, haunt you this lifeti, and haunt you into the next!
Besides, my face is clearly handso enough. A few years ago, a talent scout wanted to launch my career, but my ambition wasn't in it, and there was that... that national heartthrob Andrew Kennedy, what's his deal."
"You said that was years ago, ti is a butcher's knife, for you it seems to do more than butcher, it's downright disfiguring."
"You, you, you... I'm so mad at you, I'm breaking up, can't go on like this."
"Alright then." Aurelia Shaw hung up the phone herself.
Just a couple seconds later, the Viscount called back as expected.
She smiled as she picked up the phone.
It's nice to have a friend who never leaves no matter how much you tease.
"Aurelia-Shaw! You-really-dared-to-hang-up-on-!" the Viscount shouted angrily, enunciating each word.
"Didn't you say you can't go on like this? Even divorcing couples have a cooling-off period, I'm giving you ti to calm down, see, you've cald down."
"You just keep teasing , are you free today? I've already checked, you don't have any arrangents today, co out and hang out." The Viscount said shalessly.
He hadn't seen her for days.
Being busy with work was one thing, but having no work and resting at ho, and not coming to find him—didn't even know until a friend told him.
Having a boyfriend, Mason, just made her forget about him, her good friend, that heartless girl. He really shouldn't have let her go so easily back then, leaving her to Mason Nightshade.
She really hadn't t up with the Viscount lately.
"Alright, send the location."
Aurelia Shaw hung up the phone, prepared to change clothes, and as she stood up, noticed soone standing at the door. Mason Nightshade leaned against the doorfra, eyes slightly narrowed as he gazed at her, unclear how long he had been listening.
"Seeing countless n? Can't go on?" he spoke deliberately, "Baby, when we divorced, why didn't you give a cooling-off period?"
When Mason called her 'baby', it ant one of two things: either he was happy, or... very dangerous.
Aurelia instinctively stepped back, "Our situation is special."
"Oh? Is our situation special, or... is the Viscount special?" He took a big step towards her, trapping her between his chest and the wardrobe.
Was Mason Nightshade... jealous?
Aurelia found it amusing, habitually patting his head, "You're different from the Viscount. He's my friend, the best friend of my life. You... are my lover."
Upon hearing the word 'lover,' Mason Nightshade's heart raced twice; he stared at her red lips, eyes burning, murmuring lowly, "Your lover now wants to devour you."
"No way, the Viscount has a plan with ... mm..."
The two of them fell into the wardrobe.
What a scoundrel Mason Nightshade was!
In the wardrobe! Inside!
"It's even more romantic in here." Mason softly murmured.
