Jovana Shaw's eyes flashed cold.
"Director, rest assured, I'm fine, I often go horseback riding with my dad," Jovana Shaw said with a smile.
"That's good, that's good," Caleb felt relieved. "During filming, you must be careful, since we're shooting in the hillside where there are plenty of trees and stones; sotis the staff might not be able to take care of everything. If you sense anything unusual, make sure to speak up imdiately."
Caleb repeated his instructions.
"I understand, Director," Jovana Shaw said.
Aurelia Shaw nodded as well.
"Get familiar with the horses first; we'll start filming in half an hour," Caleb instructed, having the staff bring the horses over.
Aurelia Shaw's horse was a little red horse. She patted its head, fed it so grass to familiarize it with her, noticing a tuft of white hair behind the horse's ears while feeding it.
Suddenly, she rembered the little white horse at ho.
"Hehe!" Aurelia Shaw chuckled softly, "The na Little White is already taken, you shall be called Little Red then."
Little White, Little Red... Aurelia Shaw's naming skills aren't that great.
Filming officially began. In the dense mountain woods, Aurelia Shaw rode her horse, galloping quickly, anxiously glancing backward from ti to ti. Arrows flew past her ears, making her heart tremble. She fiercely swung the whip, smacking the horse's backside.
"Aunt Yixue, what shall we do now? Will the Emperor... will he co to save us?" Little Tao cried, her tears sparkling like raindrops on petals.
Determination shone in Aurelia Shaw's eyes, even though a dozen assassins were pursuing them from behind. "He will definitely co!"
After a slight pause, the pause felt mournful, "If he can't co, it would be for the best. They want to use us as bait to lure the Emperor over, and it might lead to another life-and-death struggle. Our lives as servants are insignificant; His Majesty's is of utmost importance. Even if we fall to Hell, it wouldn't make up for such a cri."
That person... preferably shouldn't co.
Her fate, whether life or death, is uncertain.
Yixue's eyes revealed a resolve to face death.
"Neigh!" the horse's frightened cry suddenly rang out. Aurelia Shaw quickly tightened the reins, her heart skipped a beat, trying to avoid being thrown off by the horse. Seeing it was about to beco uncontrollable, she shouted loudly to the director and others: "The horse is startled! Quick..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the horse carrying Aurelia Shaw bolted into the woods.
The horse Jovana Shaw was riding got startled by Aurelia Shaw's horse as well, reared its hoofs, and followed Aurelia Shaw's horse into the forest.
"This... this..." Caleb panicked, "Quick, chase after them, Heaven help us, don't let anything happen! Why are you standing there? Hurry, chase them!"
"Buzz buzz!" At this point, soone called him, and Caleb nearly threw the phone away in fright.
Without glancing at the caller ID, he answered, sounding impatient, "Who is it? Busy now, talk later! Where's the horse trainer? Hurry and chase after them, prevent injuries."
Mason Nightshade furrowed his brows deeply, "Who's injured?"
Hearing the somber voice, Caleb froze, his fingers stiffly moved the phone a few inches away, glanced at the caller ID, and wanted to cry. "M-Mr. Nightshade..."
Why did this ancestor happen to call at such a ti?
"Cut the crap, what's injured? The horse's causing problems?"
Caleb didn't dare lie to Mason Nightshade, explaining the situation honestly.
Mason Nightshade's face turned cold as frost, his eyes stord with chilling anger. He hung up the phone with a snap, grabbed the car keys from the table, and rushed out the door.
