Leo Campbell's expression turned dark; saying this in front of so many people was basically slapping him in the face as a man.
Aurelia had enjoyed the show enough. She pulled out a black card and handed it to the salesgirl. "Forget it. Since Young Master Campbell finds it so difficult, I won't force you."
After she finished, her gaze swept, aningful as hell, over to Jovana Shaw standing beside him.
Leo Campbell's face turned even uglier.
Mark Campbell, who had been watching the drama from the side for quite a while, finally stepped out. His cold gaze swept over Leo. "What are you doing here?"
Leo shuddered hard. "Ch–Chairman Mark?!"

He usually didn't go out much—how could he be here today? And in a won's evening gown store, of all places.
Glancing at Aurelia, Leo seed to realize sothing.
Mark flicked a look at the bank card clenched in Leo's hand and let out a mocking cold laugh. "Looks like over the years you've really made quite a bit off the Campbell na. You've even learned to use money to smack people in the face?"
"Don't forget you're just a side branch. You don't even qualify as an illegitimate son."
Leo's face turned black and green by turns; he wanted to dig a hole and crawl in.
Just then, a tiny figure ca running over. Mason Campbell pointed at Leo, his little face dark as he accused, "He, bully!"
Each word took a huge effort to force out, but each word was heavy and firm.
Just those simple three words, but Mark understood. "You're saying he bullied Aurelia?"
Mason nodded, his big eyes fixed tightly on Mark, asking him to stand up for Auntie Aurelia.
Mark rubbed his fingers. "That land in the western suburbs—Kenneth Campbell won't be in charge of it anymore. Also, the company is taking back 2% of your family's shares and control. Get lost."
Leo hurried off in a panic. Mason snorted at his retreating back. When he saw that Jovana Shaw was still standing there, he glared too. He really didn't like this woman either—she'd been bullying Auntie Aurelia just now.
"Hss!" Mason bared his teeth at Jovana.
Jovana shrieked, "Ah!" then fled in a fluster. Who were these people? Leo was so scared of him… could he be…
The thought made Jovana's heart lurch.
As soon as Aurelia turned to leave, Mason's eyes turned red. He hugged her leg, feeling wronged, and burst into loud sobs. "Woo-woo… later, protect… later, protect…"
He cried as he choked out those two words over and over.
"He's saying that when he grows up, he'll protect you." Mark acted as interpreter.
Aurelia couldn't help but snort a laugh. She pinched her little An-An baby's adorable cheeks. "By the ti you grow up, Auntie will already be old. By then I really will need you to help take care of this old auntie."
At the word "old," Mason's mind conjured an image of Aurelia with white hair and a frail figure. He instantly wailed, "No… no… woo-woo-woo… no…"
Haha, he was just too cute.
"I heard people who are lonely age really fast. If you keep company and talk to often, maybe I won't get old that quickly."
Mason bit his lip in distress, clearly torn.
"If you don't want to talk to , then forget it," Aurelia sighed "disappointedly."
Mason imdiately wrapped his arms around Aurelia's neck and rubbed his face against hers, acting spoiled. After a long while, she finally heard a tiny "Mm" in her ear, soft as a mosquito.
Aurelia fondly rubbed the little "bun's" soft cheeks, smiling gorgeous and gentle.
Leaning against the doorfra, Jennifer Campbell hooked up the corner of her lips. With how sharp Aurelia was at reading people, how had she not noticed that An-An actually wasn't autistic at all, but…
Forget it. Either way, there'd be a good show to watch later.
