In her previous life, Mason Nightshade hadn't known what her relationship with Caspian Parker was.
If he really did misunderstand that Caspian and she…
Then her brother's hand—was it hurt by Mason?
Aurelia Shaw suddenly felt all the blood in her body freeze; a chill of fear crept over her.
But fortunately, the Mason Nightshade in front of her now wasn't the one she used to know.
He was the one she got to know all over again, the Mason "trained" into shape under her hand.
Aurelia's lips curved slightly.
Mason's reply sounded at this mont as well: "Your brother? Caspian Parker? Tsk tsk…"
His thin lips hooked up in a contemptuous little laugh.
"Even though I don't like how close he is to you, I could give him ten tis the guts and what could he do? There's still that bloodline standing in his way—what can he do?
At most, when he watches touch you, he'll feel upset about it."
Mason's lips quirked, a smug little smile flashing in his eyes.
He paused, then said in a serious tone, "He's your brother—what could I possibly do to him?"
Even for her sake, he still wouldn't lay a hand on the people she cared about.
He'd always been very clear on where her bottom line was, and he never crossed it.
"Wifey, the night is long and lonely—
Aurelia kicked him right off the bed!
"Don't touch tonight, you reek too much. In the future, if you co back with the sll of blood on you again, just don't co ho at all!"
With that, Aurelia yanked the quilt over her head and ignored Mason completely.
Mason stared pitifully at the quilt for a while, then picked up the pillow from the floor and went to sleep on the sofa.
Who would've thought that the all-powerful CEO, the fearso, renowned Major General Nightshade of the military region, would actually be sent to sleep on the couch by his wife at ho.

Aurelia ca to Royal Friendship today to talk scripts with Sawyer; they'd set this up a few days ago.
Co to think of it, this was her first ti coming to the company she founded.
The office location had been chosen by Viscount, and even the interior design and the hiring of employees had all been handled by him personally.
She had only personally reviewed things when it ca to selecting the staff.
Royal Friendship had only caused a brief stir online when Aurelia first founded it; afterward, with no new projects being released and no news about signing any artists, the company gradually faded from public view.
People had completely forgotten that Aurelia still had an entertainnt company under her na.
They also hadn't noticed that this company hadn't slowly declined the way the dia predicted, but was quietly growing stronger in the shadows.
Aurelia wore a black overcoat, her long hair draped over her shoulders, a pair of sunglasses covering half her face. Her red lips were sultry and striking, and her unique, seductive aura was impossible to conceal.
"Miss, I'm sorry, this is the staff area. Artists aren't allowed in here. Do you have an appointnt?" A female employee stopped Aurelia.
Aurelia was just about to take off her sunglasses when a teasing voice sounded.
"You guys even dare stop your own boss. I guess you don't want these jobs anymore." Viscount had both hands in his pockets, a sliver of a smile on his lips, his little tiger tooth showing.
"B-boss…" The female employee was stunned.
Aurelia took off her sunglasses and teased back, "With President Zhou putting on such a front, who could tell I'm actually the real boss? You're clearly the true boss here, aren't you?"
Viscount flicked a finger against Aurelia's forehead. "What are you being so cheeky for? You never co to the company; no wonder your own employees don't recognize you. Tsk tsk, only a few days since I last saw you and look at the way you're dressed. All in black—no one can tell you're the boss, they can't even tell you're Aurelia Shaw."
