"Also, thank you for today." Aurelia Shaw paused and continued.
"I’m glad I could help you." Hadrian Turner replied earnestly.
Aurelia Shaw smiled, "This wasn’t about justice, it was my personal matter, you shouldn’t have been dragged into it, but you were still involved. If you feel troubled and don’t want to continue, you can stop, my company will still employ you."
"Aurelia..." Hadrian Turner didn’t react for a mont, "Doing these things for you is my choice, aren’t we friends? When you face difficulties, as a friend, it’s only right for to help you.
Don’t think I’m too naïve, I have my own motives too. When it cos to fairness and justice, I tend to favor my friends.
Besides, what you’ve asked to do has never crossed any moral or legal lines."
"Mm." Aurelia Shaw nodded, flashed a smile at Hadrian Turner, "Thank you."
Hadrian Turner watched Aurelia Shaw as she walked away. He stood in place for a long ti, only leaving once he saw her reach ho.
...
Aurelia Shaw was about to close the door when a hand reached over and held it open.
Viscount Johnson stood outside the door, his face dark, and he pushed the door open forcefully, striding inside.
"I thought I’ve made myself clear, I don’t need you ddling in my business, now or ever. Stop interfering with my matters." Aurelia Shaw’s voice suddenly turned cold.
Viscount Johnson slamd the door with such force that it shook, staring at Aurelia Shaw viciously.
He truly wanted to teach her a lesson!
Calming down a bit, Viscount Johnson sat down on the sofa.
Ursa Miller ran out upon hearing the commotion, before she could figure out what was happening, Viscount Johnson instructed, "Bring a glass of water."
"Oh." Ursa Miller hesitated but went to get the water.
Viscount Johnson looked at Aurelia Shaw, "You don’t need to tell these things, trying to hurt and make leave you, not care about your matters. I’m telling you, your business is mine now!"
"Viscount Johnson, are you a masochist?" Aurelia Shaw shouted angrily.
"Yes, I’m a masochist, and I’m determined to be one for you! It’s not the first ti I’ve been like this for you!" Viscount Johnson declared.
Ursa Miller ca over, trembling, carrying the water.
Viscount Johnson grabbed it and gulped it down in one go.
Knowing Aurelia Shaw was intentionally provoking him was one thing.
But truly hearing those words, being angry inside, was another.
"Bang!" Viscount Johnson slamd the cup hard on the table, striding over to Aurelia Shaw, staring directly into her eyes, "What is my outco? Why are you so afraid of interfering in this matter, what did Mason Nightshade do to ?"
"It’s none of your business, you don’t need to know these things, don’t get involved in my matters." Aurelia Shaw walked to the kitchen and brought out two bottles of mineral water, shoving them into Viscount Johnson’s arms, "Go ho and drink, don’t co here."
"Also, I don’t want to see you here, don’t stay here, go back to the Johnson Family."
Aurelia Shaw pushed him towards the door.
Viscount Johnson’s strength couldn’t match Aurelia Shaw’s, but his movents were nimble.
He dodged her pushing, laid down on the sofa, crossed his long legs, and started acting stubborn, "You want to leave, so I’ll stay. You’re not my parents, why should I listen to you? I helped you so much back then, and now you want to kick out? No way, don’t think about being ungrateful, starting today, I’m living here."
"Ursa!"
