Gustavo Yates pushed the door open and went in, seeing Mason Nightshade sitting up.
"Boss, you’re awake." Gustavo Yates quickly walked over.
Mason Nightshade’s face was pale, and he glanced at him sideways, "Where did you go?"
Gustavo Yates hesitated whether to say or not.
Mason Nightshade narrowed his eyes sharply, "Concealing truth incurs a punishnt of two hundred push-ups."
Gustavo Yates cried out in his heart, quickly saying, "Young Madam just called, and I went out to answer her call."
"Aurelia!" Mason Nightshade was so agitated that he strained his chest, frowning slightly, his voice suddenly deepening, "Why didn’t you tell !"
Gustavo Yates tucked his neck in, "You just managed to fall asleep, I didn’t dare to disturb you, and Young Madam also said not to tell you about her call."
"Is she your boss or am I your boss!" Mason Nightshade glared at him.
Gustavo Yates raised three fingers to show loyalty, "Mason is my boss! And I didn’t plan to hide it!"
Mason Nightshade sneered, "Then why were you hemming and hawing just now? Give the phone."
As Mason Nightshade looked for Aurelia Shaw’s number, he asked, "What did she say?"
"Young Madam asked about your health."
Mason Nightshade’s heart leapt with joy, "What did you say?"
"I just told the truth."
"And then?" Mason Nightshade asked, "How did she react?"
"Then..." Gustavo Yates had a feeling that after he said the next bit, he might get beaten to death by the boss, "Young Madam told to take good care of you, then hung up."
Sure enough, Mason Nightshade had the impulse to beat him up, but his current physical condition didn’t allow it, "She didn’t say when she’ll be back? Didn’t she say she’d co see ?"
Her asking about his situation showed that she cared about him.
Though he had long confird that.
Gustavo Yates hesitantly shook his head, wondering if he should have lied.
Mason Nightshade’s voice drifted over, "Go back and run five kiloters with a load."
"No way boss." Gustavo Yates cried.
"Ten kiloters." Mason Nightshade said lightly, already dialing Aurelia Shaw’s number.
...
"Aurelia." Sawyer saw Aurelia Shaw returning and clapped his hands, "Get ready, we’ll start shooting soon."
Aurelia walked over, "What’s up? Is there anything wrong? Can we shoot as normal?"
"Yes, we can." Aurelia Shaw said.
Sawyer trusted Aurelia Shaw’s professionalism. Since she said it was okay, he didn’t ask further and went to check on the staff’s preparations.
Amanda Fuller called her to get ready for makeup, and at that mont, Aurelia Shaw’s phone rang.
Seeing the caller ID, Aurelia Shaw was startled, hesitating for a long ti, unsure whether to pick up the call.
She felt she should talk about these things with him face to face.
While hesitating, the call automatically ended.

On the other side, Mason Nightshade’s face darkened.
"Why didn’t she pick up?"
He was about to call again.
"Maybe Young Madam was busy and didn’t hear it." Gustavo Yates wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.
Before Mason Nightshade could make the call, an unexpected guest arrived.
Adrian Cooper pushed open the hospital room door, seeing Mason Nightshade sitting on the bed with a phone in hand, frowning. He asked, "Who are you calling?"
"Young Madam." Gustavo Yates blurted out.
Adrian Cooper’s face turned a bit cold, taking Mason Nightshade’s phone away, "You’re prohibited from contacting the outside world during this ti."
Mason Nightshade frowned, "She called today."
"So what?" Adrian Cooper raised an eyebrow.
