Jiang Yi extended his long, slender hands and gently fiddled with one of his pink rabbit ears.
This Biorobot was designed to be a Rabbit Beastman.
If she didn’t like the rabbit ears, he could even modify his own body and change them.
Jiang Zheyu was sipping her soup. She took a mont to look up at Jiang Yi, intending to ask him to sit down and eat with her. ’After all, I can’t finish this whole table of food by myself.’
So she was caught off guard to see Jiang Yi’s long fingers gently folding one of his rabbit ears. Beneath his fine pink hair, a pair of pink eyes were fixed on her. She didn’t know how long he had been watching. Just as she looked up, their eyes t.
Only then did Jiang Zheyu realize that Jiang Yi seed to be keeping his rabbit ears exposed.
’Didn’t he say that a Beastman’s ears and tail were rather private?’
’So why is he showing them so openly today?’
’But... rembering how they felt last ti, they were actually quite nice to touch, weren’t they? I didn’t get to touch them enough. I let go before I could get a proper feel.’
’And now that he’s wearing a pink apron, those rabbit ears look even more touchable, as if they’re inviting soone to co and stroke them.’
When Jiang Zheyu found herself entertaining such thoughts, she quickly pushed them away.
"Jiang Yi, is sothing wrong with your ears?" Jiang Zheyu asked quietly.
"It’s nothing." Jiang Yi gave a small smile. "Princess Yu Yu, please enjoy your al."
"You should sit down and eat too." The words were out of her mouth before Jiang Zheyu suddenly rembered: the new butler was a Biorobot and couldn’t eat.
In her enjoynt of the food, Jiang Zheyu had completely forgotten.
’Still, this could be a good way to test him.’
’Biorobots don’t need to eat.’
’But now that I’ve said it, have I put him in an awkward position?’
’Even if he is a Biorobot, he still cooked this whole table of delicious food.’
’So as long as he continues to be a dutiful butler, it doesn’t really matter if he’s a Biorobot or a real Beastman. All that matters is that he’s a butler who suits my needs. For that reason alone, I don’t want to make things difficult for him now.’
Jiang Yi slowly crouched down beside Jiang Zheyu, tilting his head up slightly to gaze at her. "Princess Yu Yu, I am a Biorobot. You must have realized this when we first t, right?"
Hearing this, Jiang Zheyu’s expression faltered for a mont. She hadn’t expected Jiang Yi to admit it so directly.
’He must have known for a while that I suspected he was a Biorobot.’
She silently swallowed a mouthful of soup and set the bowl back down on the table.
"Yes. On the first day, I probed with my spiritual power and couldn’t detect any from you. So I figured you must be a Biorobot linked to a Beastman’s spiritual power," Jiang Zheyu admitted with a nod.
In reality, Jiang Yi wasn’t a Biorobot linked to a Beastman’s spiritual power. He was simply a Biorobot implanted with a data chip—a chip that had, on its own, developed consciousness and emotions.
So, no matter how wild her imagination was, she had never considered the possibility that a data chip could develop consciousness and emotions.
Jiang Yi had no intention of revealing this. He was afraid of scaring Jiang Zheyu, or of her thinking he was a monster.
"Princess Yu Yu, aren’t you afraid of ?" Jiang Yi asked, gently lifting his gaze to her.
Jiang Zheyu gave a small smile. "My sixth sense tells you an no harm."
Jiang Yi’s pink eyes watched her as he blinked slowly.
So Jiang Zheyu added with a grin, "A woman’s sixth sense is very accurate, you know."
"Mm, very accurate." Seeing her smile, Jiang Yi smiled faintly as well, his pink eyes filled with adoration.
Now that things were out in the open, Jiang Zheyu asked without reservation, "That ti I bent your ear, did it really hurt?"
"Princess Yu Yu, you can think of it as all my senses being human-like." Jiang Yi’s soft gaze rested on her. "My rabbit ears are just like a real person’s. Bending them too forcefully will cause pain."
His words, that all his senses were human-like, directly answered all of Jiang Zheyu’s unspoken questions.
In truth, Jiang Zheyu didn’t need to ask any more questions. She should have realized as much after spending the past few days with him.
"I see," Jiang Zheyu said.
Jiang Zheyu didn’t press him further about his Beastman identity.
"Since you don’t need to eat, just sit over there. You don’t have to keep standing." Jiang Zheyu’s tea-colored eyes curved into a smile.
"Okay." Jiang Yi nodded.
Having eaten and drunk her fill, Jiang Zheyu said cheerfully, "Jiang Yi, you don’t need to make so much next ti. I can’t eat this much."
"Okay." He was always responsive.
Aside from banging on the door at noon, the Little Princess of the Empire didn’t co back.
「It was the familiar hour of midnight again.」
Jiang Zheyu couldn’t sleep. She felt completely exasperated.
Suddenly, she heard a window slide open. Soone walked over quickly, making no effort to hide their footsteps. It didn’t sound like soone sneaking in for a capture, but rather soone arriving openly for a visit.
Jiang Zheyu was caught off guard. Just as she was about to use her spiritual power, she felt a warm touch on her cheek.
A tall, slender youth had lowered his gaze and kissed her cheek.
Jiang Zheyu froze.
"Baby, I’m here." A hoarse, obsessive, and deranged voice whispered by her ear.
She was enveloped in an embrace, blanket and all.
Jiang Zheyu’s eyes snapped open to a head of silver-gray hair.
’Of course. It’s that creep, Gu Tao.’
When the youth saw her eyes open, his own peach-pink ones instantly grew brighter, brilliant with obsession.
"Baby, I know you want to catch . I’ll let you. I can even tell you where the other mbers are." Gu Tao’s cheek was so close to Jiang Zheyu’s that their breaths mingled. "I was looking for you the whole ti, so I didn’t join their ga. I only found out today that you were in it. If I’d known, I would have co sooner. Were you scared, baby?"
As he spoke, he gently nuzzled his nose against Jiang Zheyu’s. "Baby, you sll so good. So, so good. I love it."
Jiang Zheyu was tired of spending every night wide awake, waiting for these people to co for her.
Since Gu Tao was making the offer, she might as well take the initiative and capture them first.
"Then where are they now?" Jiang Zheyu asked, fighting back the goosebumps crawling over her skin.
"Baby, give a kiss, and I’ll tell you one person’s location." Gu Tao climbed on top of her, bracing his hands on either side of her head. His peach-pink eyes held a captivating, dangerous light.
Jiang Zheyu: ...
