At the entrance of the Female Office, a handso young man watched the man and young woman embrace.
He held a glass bottle with three sunflowers, his dark brown eyes filled with utter desolation.
Su Yan caught the young man’s gaze out of the corner of his eye. He slowly took Jiang Zheyu by the shoulders and turned her so her back was to the onlooker. "Let’s go ho," he said softly.
Jiang Zheyu didn’t notice the subtle gesture and smiled faintly. "Okay."
She reached out, took Su Yan’s hand, and gave it a gentle swing.
A corner of Su Yan’s heart lted. He quietly squeezed her hand in return, and the two walked away, hand in hand.
The golden retriever young man watched the girl leave without a single glance back, and his head drooped as if drained of all strength.
The firm sound of long boots echoed on the ground.
Feng Qi walked out. His gaze swept over the sunflowers in the golden retriever young man’s hands, and he remarked quietly, "Those are nice flowers."
Hearing his voice, the golden retriever young man flinched and quickly hid the flowers behind his back. With his eyes downcast, he said, "Captain Qi!"
"Mm," Feng Qi replied casually, pretending not to have seen anything as he left the Female Office.
On the hovercraft ride back with Su Yan, Jiang Zheyu began to read through the thick stack of papers in her hands.
"Hold out your hand," Su Yan said, extending his own toward her.
Jiang Zheyu’s eyes were still on the thick stack of papers, but she subconsciously offered him her hand.
His long, broad hand enveloped her wrist, and he gently fastened a Light Brain around it.
The pad of his thumb gently caressed the skin of her wrist, which was as smooth as jade.
Jiang Zheyu looked up, saw the Light Brain on her wrist, and a small smile touched her lips. "Thank you."
’I’d almost forgotten about my Light Brain.’
Watching the young woman’s bright, dazzling smile, Su Yan’s heart fluttered. His red eyes swam with affection as he leaned in, reaching out to brush a strand of hair from her face. His lips grazed her ear as he murmured in a low voice, "Your hair is a little ssy."

Jiang Zheyu blinked. ’It’s not like I’ve never been in a relationship before. Of course I know he’s testing the waters.’
She smiled, not pulling away, and responded softly, "Mm-hm."

’I just haven’t gotten used to Su Yan’s beast form yet. After a few more tis, I probably won’t be afraid anymore, right?’
"Yu Yu, do you like Strawberry Nutrient Supplents?" Su Yan asked, tucking her hair back but not pulling away. He whispered by her ear, his voice carrying a bewitching tone.
Jiang Zheyu blinked. "I do."
"I just had a Strawberry Nutrient Supplent," Su Yan said, his lips slowly drawing closer to hers, their noses lightly touching. "It’s very sweet. Want to try?"
Jiang Zheyu realized he probably wanted to kiss her.
Her own heart began to beat a little faster.
"O-Okay..." Jiang Zheyu blinked, her eyelashes trembling slightly.
Su Yan let out a low laugh, a pleased rumble from deep within his chest. "I was teasing you. There was no Strawberry Nutrient Supplent. I just wanted to kiss you."
The words had barely left his lips when his hand gently cupped the back of her neck, and he lowered his head to kiss her.
It was a long, tender kiss, a lingering intimacy that was almost breathtaking.
When they finally parted, both of their breaths were hot and ragged.
The corners of Jiang Zheyu’s eyes were flushed, and her pretty lips were moist and swollen.
"Yu Yu, am I sweeter than a Strawberry Nutrient Supplent?" Su Yan asked, his voice low and hoarse. His red eyes, now a deep crimson, were fixed on her.
Looking at the thoroughly aroused man before her, Jiang Zheyu’s heart pounded in her chest.
’Why don’t I rember Su Yan being such a flirt?’
’Whether it was in the novel or during our previous interactions, he never seed to be this much of a flirt.’
"Mm, very sweet," Jiang Zheyu replied, her cheeks flushing faintly.
"You can have more tastes in the future." Su Yan kissed the corner of her eye as if in encouragent. "It gets sweeter the more you have."
’How did Su Yan get so shaless?’ Jiang Zheyu wondered.
Her face felt hot, and she quickly pushed away the man who was leaning in again. "I get it, I get it. I need to look at these docunts now."
Su Yan let out another low laugh. "Alright," he relented.
Only then did Jiang Zheyu breathe a sigh of relief and begin to seriously examine the reparations she had to pay.
As she read, Jiang Zheyu sucked in a sharp breath. The initial reparations amounted to three billion, but on top of that, there were more than a dozen families requiring paynts for surgical and dical fees, so for child support, and others for pensions. None of these were included in the three billion.
’Am I destined to spend the rest of my life buried in debt?’
On the verge of tears, Jiang Zheyu looked at Su Yan with a pitiful expression. ’As my Beast Husband, he should help shoulder so of this, right?’ she thought, then called out softly, "A Yuan..."
Su Yan’s heart skipped a beat, and his Adam’s apple bobbed. He reached out to gently stroke her head and chuckled softly. "I’ve already paid off the reparations for you. As for the ongoing expenses for the other families, they’ll be deducted from my salary each month. Don’t worry."
Jiang Zheyu paused. She had wanted Su Yan to share the burden with her, but she hadn’t wanted him to shoulder it all by himself.
"You don’t have to do that. The future paynts for those families can be deducted from my earnings," Jiang Zheyu said, pulling his hand down and holding it with both of her own. "I... I have a way to earn money."
Su Yan thought of the dance she had perford online in that light dress. While it wasn’t risqué, the thought of so many Beastn calling his Female Master "wife" made him deeply unhappy.
His red eyes darkened slightly.
"Yu Yu, how do you plan on earning money?" Su Yan asked, looking down at her.
Jiang Zheyu no longer planned to livestream. Instead, she would use the system to earn money. Since it was a Spiritual Power Purification System, she could use her spiritual power to purify Beastification Values for a fee. This way, she could complete system missions, earn money, and improve her spiritual power all at the sa ti.
It was an idea she’d co up with after her last stream.
She rembered that in the novel, the protagonist had developed a potion that could lower a Beastman’s Beastification Value without needing a female’s comfort, and it sold for an astronomical price.
Lowering their Beastification Value was sothing Beastn desperately sought, as no one wanted to devolve into a mindless beast.
’Even though I won’t be selling potions, I can still purify Beastification Values. It’s like taking a slice of the protagonist’s pie.’
