Jiang Zheyu knew nothing about interstellar history, nor were there any mories of it from the body’s original owner.

She hadn’t tried to learn about it either, so she was completely in the dark.

"Co on, let’s go inside," Zexun said, tilting his head to look at her.

Jiang Zheyu followed Zexun into the Imperial City Museum.

They both picked up an exhibition brochure.

She quickly understood why they needed one. The museum was massive, with ten floors above ground and another five below.

Each floor was dedicated to a different era.

The ground floor exhibited items from the last one to five hundred years of recent interstellar history, all of them being artifacts of special significance.

For example, the Shocking Wing cha in the center of the first floor was as tall as the ceiling, taking up an enormous amount of space.

Seeing the cha with her own eyes, Jiang Zheyu was truly amazed. Its body was sleek and silver, with two enormous, thin silver wings on its back. Even though one wing was snapped in half, the cha was posed kneeling on one knee with its head bowed. The iron plating on its fist was shattered, yet it still possessed a kind of battle-damaged beauty.

’This makes want to go back and see Su Yan’s Hongying cha!’

She had only ever seen Su Yan’s Hongying cha on the Star Network, never in person.

"Miss Jiang, shall we explore this floor first?" Zexun suggested, noticing her interest.

"Alright," Jiang Zheyu said with a nod.

Jiang Zheyu began to browse with Zexun. Whenever she paused before a glass display, he would ticulously explain the artifact and its history, offering comntary that was far more detailed and insightful than the official descriptions provided.

"Mr. Ze, you know so much," Jiang Zheyu remarked, realizing that Zexun was familiar with nearly every exhibit and possessed a wealth of knowledge about them.

"You can look up all of these exhibits on the Star Network." Zexun smiled faintly. "Their relevant histories are on the Star Network as well. I happen to be interested in this subject, so I’ve learned a thing or two."

Jiang Zheyu also noticed that so other Beastn were deliberately listening in on Zexun’s explanations, while the official tour guide, despite their best efforts, had a much smaller audience.

"Have you noticed we seem to have picked up a following?" Jiang Zheyu leaned closer to Zexun, whispering with a hint of amusent in her voice. "Your explanations are so good that they’d rather listen to you than the official guide."

If the tour guide was reciting the official script, Zexun was offering his own understanding, viewing the exhibits from a personal and thoughtful perspective.

Zexun had noticed long ago, but he didn’t mind.

"So you think my explanations are good, too?" Zexun asked, looking at Jiang Zheyu. In truth, her opinion was the only one he cared about. He would continue as long as she found it interesting. If he sensed she was growing tired of it, he would stop and change the subject.

"Yes, they’re wonderful," Jiang Zheyu affird, her eyes curving into a smile.

Thanks to Zexun’s comntary, she was beginning to get a rudintary grasp of the last one to five hundred years of interstellar history.

For instance, there had been a major revision of Star Citizen law five hundred years ago. Because females were on the brink of extinction, a series of protective asures had been introduced. As a result, the female population had increased, but they were still extrely rare compared to Male Beastn.

Jiang Zheyu followed Zexun to the exhibition floor dedicated to Ancient Earth.

The sparse displays imdiately spoke to the rarity of the artifacts.

’What sort of things from Ancient Earth could they possibly have on display?’ Jiang Zheyu wondered.

A mont later, she saw the artifact inside the glass case: a battered, damaged, and grimy basic phone.

She fell silent for a mont.

"There are very few books about Ancient Earth," Zexun said slowly beside her. "All that’s known is that it was a planet called Blue Star, which exploded and vanished from the universe. These artifacts were found adrift in space. Technical analysis indicates they are from hundreds of millions of years ago, making them the oldest antiquities known to us."

"I see." Jiang Zheyu paused, struck by the absurdity of seeing a common, everyday item displayed in such a grand museum.

There were other items: a television set, candles, a charger, a motorcycle, a bicycle...

They were only here because they had been dated as being incredibly ancient.

And with Ancient Earth having exploded and disappeared, an entire civilization had vanished along with it.

"System, is Blue Star really gone?" Jiang Zheyu asked the system in her mind. "Does this an I didn’t transmigrate into a book, but traveled into the future?"

"Host, you can think of it as having transmigrated into an alternate reality," the system explained. "It’s just that so of the history in this reality is similar to the Ancient Earth you ca from."

Based on what the system said, this Ancient Earth was different from her own.

"Alright, then," Jiang Zheyu conceded after hearing the system’s explanation.

"Miss Jiang, you posted a video before that seed to be about classical dance from Ancient Earth." Zexun looked at her with a gentle smile. "I’m quite curious. I was wondering if you could tell about it?"

Hearing this, Jiang Zheyu looked at Zexun. ’The history behind the classical dances I perform is, of course, tied to the history of Ancient Earth. But there are no books about it in this interstellar era. If I just blurt it out, I won’t be able to explain how I know any of it.’

She blinked slowly. "Actually, that was just a gimmick to attract an audience. I don’t really know anything about authentic classical dance."

Zexun didn’t seem to doubt her explanation and accepted it readily.

After all, if even he—soone with access to the Empire’s secret archives—knew nothing about Ancient Earth’s history, how could a female from a remote planet be expected to?

The two of them didn’t dwell on the topic of classical dance.

Jiang Zheyu continued to explore with Zexun, finding the museum to be exceptionally large. It was already nearing noon, and they had only gotten through half of it.

"Miss Jiang, perhaps we can save the other half for another ti?" Zexun always seed to quickly sense what Jiang Zheyu was thinking.

For example, when she was thirsty, he would go buy her a bottle of water. And now that she was getting tired, he was the first to offer her an elegant way out by suggesting they et again.

Jiang Zheyu found him to be incredibly considerate.

She did feel very comfortable in his company.

"Okay," Jiang Zheyu replied. They would finish touring the rest of the museum together next ti.

Zexun drove Jiang Zheyu ho. As she was getting out of the Hovercar, he retrieved a large bouquet of pink roses from the trunk. They were still glistening with dewdrops, each bloom exceptionally fresh and vibrant. Zexun must have had soone place the bouquet in the car while they were touring the museum.

"Miss Jiang, these are for you." Zexun held the large bouquet with both hands, offering it to her. He looked down at her, his charming eyes filled with a deep and gentle smile.

Jiang Zheyu had the distinct feeling he was about to drop to one knee and propose.

"I can’t accept the roses, but I had a wonderful ti with you today, Mr. Ze." Jiang Zheyu paused for a mont before looking up at Zexun, making no move to take the flowers.
