Boom!
The Three Swordsn manifested their Domains together. Dozens of layers of Domains stacked upon one another and descended toward Lu Changsheng. Knowing how strong he truly was, they did not hold back.
Buzz...
Lu Changsheng manifested his Five Elents Domain. A five-colored radiance flickered around him, but this ti, he did not drive it forward to clash against the Domains of the Three Swordsn. Instead, he simply used it for defense.
The Domains of the Three Swordsman hamred relentlessly on Lu Changsheng's Five Elents Domain, but with the five elents reinforcing one another in an endless cycle, it remained unshaken no matter how fierce their assault beca.
With the Five Elents Domain protecting him, Lu Changsheng turned his full attention to contemplating the Domains of the Three Swordsn.
Hmm... a total of seven two-in-one Domains? A trace of surprise flashed across Lu Changsheng's face.
During the earlier contest for the Azure Cloud Fruits, the Three Swordsn had never had occasion to fight, so he had never gotten a clear read on their actual strength. Now, watching their attacks unfold, he could see they were far from weak. Each Domain was only a two-in-one, yet together, the seven could theoretically rival seventy layers of Domains.
In practice, however, that level of power could only be achieved if all seven Domains were controlled by a single Divine Treasury martial artist. Once multiple martial artists worked together, even those who knew each other well, their Domains would inevitably interfere with one another, bleeding away a significant portion of their combined power. Only when a single cultivator controlled all the Domains would there be no conflict or entanglent, allowing the Domains to truly reach their maximum potential.
While the Three Swordsn could not achieve that level of unity, their combined power was still impressive—but still not enough to break Lu Changsheng's Five Elents Domain.
Lu Changsheng quickly asured the power of the Three Swordsn. Liu Pu and Han Tianyu each carried two two-in-one Domains, while Gu Chen possessed three two-in-one Domains. On his own, Gu Chen's power could rival between thirty and forty layers of Domains. The power of his Domains were indeed inferior to Xu Haotian's four-in-one Domain, but not by much.
Together, the three truly lived up to the na of the Three Swordsn of the Heavenly Sect, though most of that reputation rested on Gu Chen.
Lu Changsheng's gaze sharpened. He wanted all seven Domains the Three Swordsn had just displayed, so with the protection of the Five Elents Domain, he proceeded to contemplate them.
Ti passed little by little, and the spectators watching grew more and more confused. The four martial artists in the combat ring showed no signs of actually fighting. It looked more like a sparring session, but even that was not quite right.
A disciple watching from the stands narrowed his eyes. "Is Senior Brother Lu cultivating...?"
"I think so. I guess the Three Swordsn don't actually have any conflicts with Senior Brother Lu. They're helping him cultivate instead."
"Is this how a supre genius cultivates?"
"It looks like Senior Brother Lu is contemplating Intents? I think he's using the Three Swordsn to contemplate Intents."
"But how can anyone contemplate Intents in such a short ti?"
Many of the onlookers were knowledgeable enough to recognize what was happening, although that did not make it easier to accept. From their own experience, contemplating an Intent required ti; it ant reflection, constant refinent, and long periods of quiet thinking. Only after days or even months of effort could a martial artist gradually grasp it. A rare mont of epiphany or flash of inspiration might shorten that process to a day or two, but no one believed an Intent could be comprehended in the span of a brief exchange in the arena.
Lu Changsheng's reputation was built on extraordinary achievents, but the idea that he was using a combat exchange with Divine Treasury martial artists to contemplate Intents was still hard to believe.
Ti passed, bit by bit. Soon, two hours had gone by.
Suddenly, a faint tremor spread from Lu Changsheng, and an aura quietly erged.
"That aura... an Intent! That's one of Senior Brother Gu's Intents, only it's evolved into a Domain."
“In just two hours, he’s comprehended an Intent? That kind of Perception is unbelievable.”
"How is that possible? Grasping a completely new Intent in two hours... unless he'd already comprehended it before?"
Even seeing it with their own eyes, many disciples struggled to believe it. Lu Changsheng's cultivation speed was almost monstrous. It made them feel like everything they thought they knew about cultivation had to be reconsidered.
Two more hours passed.
Boom!
Another new Intent surged out from Lu Changsheng, taken from another one of Gu Chen's two-in-one Domains. The disciples erupted in an uproar, unable to believe what they were seeing.
"So this is what a true genius can do..."
"Unreal! Seems like contemplating Intents is as easy as breathing to Senior Brother Lu. No wonder that, despite cultivating only for a short period of ti, he still beca a supre Divine Treasury martial artist. His talent is beyond unimaginable. At this rate, he'll manage to forge his Dao Foundation very soon."
"One Intent every hour... Just how high is his Perception?"
The spectating disciples murmured in disbelief. The ones most shaken, however, were the Three Swordsn in the combat ring, especially Gu Chen. The Intents Lu Changsheng had just contemplated were Intents that he only managed to grasp after cultivating over a long period of ti. But in just two hours, Lu Changsheng had reproduced them exactly.
Gu Chen found this hard to accept. Impossible! How did he replicate my Intents in such a short ti? Just how powerful is his Perception? If Junior Brother Lu continues like this, his achievents will reach far beyond the Dao Foundation.
In that mont, he caught a glimpse of Lu Changsheng’s future—past the Dao Foundation, rising to the level of a sect founder, standing among the true elites who dominated the entire Ancient Region, and perhaps even higher, all the way to the pinnacle of the Martial Dao.
Lu Changsheng, however, paid no attention to anyone's reactions. He focused entirely on the Domains before him, pouring all his ntal strength into contemplating the Intents.
Another two hours passed, then four, then six. Finally, after more than six hours in total, Lu Changsheng opened his eyes. He withdrew his Five Elents Domain and the Three Swordsn withdrew theirs.
Seven two-in-one Intents!
Lu Changsheng was overwheld with joy. Seven two-in-one Intents could be split into fourteen separate Intents, and each one could evolve into its own Domain, expanding his Mind Space by fourteen li. The results far exceeded his expectations.
He walked up to the Three Swordsn. "Senior Brother Gu, Senior Brother Liu, and Senior Brother Han, thank you for your help."
With that, he walked towards the exit of the arena. The crowd parted instinctively, clearing a path as he walked straight out.
Even after he was gone, many disciples remained where they stood, still trying to process what they had witnessed.
"He really comprehended seven two-in-one Domains in such a short ti..."
"The two-in-one Intents that Gu Chen, Liu Pu, and Han Tianyun cultivated over so long have all been grasped by Senior Brother Lu. But will he really be able to evolve them into identical Domains?”"
"Comprehending an Intent is one thing, but evolving it into a Domain is far harder. I know Senior Brother Lu has extraordinary Perception, but evolving them into Domains will probably take a while."
"And yet... I have the feeling Senior Brother Lu doesn't particularly worry about that part. Could it be that for him, once he comprehends an Intent, evolving it into a Domain is just as simple?"
"Well, if it was anyone else, I'd say it's impossible. But for Senior Brother Lu... I can't say. He's already done the impossible so many tis."
The disciples exchanged glances, their voices filled with disbelief and awe. Lu Changsheng's performance had truly reshaped their understanding of what "genius" truly ant.
Compared to Lu Changsheng, the so-called geniuses they knew seed ordinary. After what they had just witnessed, even if he went on to comprehend six-in-one, seven-in-one, or even nine-in-one Domains, few would be surprised.
Lu Changsheng had shaken the sect to its foundations once more, and this ti the shock ran deep. What made it different from his other feats was that this thod of cultivation could not be imitated. Other martial artists could watch and understand and still be utterly unable to follow. The Perception required to sustain that thod of cultivation simply did not exist in ordinary disciples.
