Liou Rui looked at the man in front of her with a cheerful smile, showing no trace of annoyance.
"Rui, I'm free today. Let accompany you for a shopping outing," Zhou Shaoyu said to Liou Rui, trying to display a gentle and gentlemanly deanor.
This was a woman he deeply desired.
"Sorry, Mr. Zhou, I just want to shop alone today," Liou Rui replied with a hint of apology.
"Rui, shopping alone is boring, and Jiangnan City isn't that safe. It'd be safer with around," Zhou Shaoyu said softly.
"Well," Liou Rui hesitated, and seeing a hint of hope, Zhou Shaoyu quickly added, "Rui, it seems a new LV store just opened on Jade Bay Street with lots of new rchandise. Let's go check it out?"
Liou Rui pondered for a mont and then chuckled, "Mr. Zhou, I don't have much money on . I can't afford any bags; I'm just planning to browse slowly."
"No worries, Rui, I brought my card. We can charge anything we like," Zhou Shaoyu said, patting his chest with a delighted expression.
"But you know I don't really like using other people's cards, so I must decline with apologies," Liou Rui smiled slightly.
Zhou Shaoyu didn't expect Liou Rui would still refuse, and his expression froze for a mont before saying with a smile, "Rui, you indeed have the temperant of a strong woman. It's alright, if you're shopping, I'll just accompany you."
Liou Rui's eyebrows furrowed slightly, almost imperceptibly. Just then, she spotted Ren Feng approaching from not far away, and a smile instantly appeared on her face.
"Mr. Zhou, it's quite unfortunate. Actually, I made plans with a friend to shop together. My friend is here now, so I can't shop with you," Liou Rui said with a smile.

Zhou Shaoyu was taken aback and followed Liou Rui's gaze, catching sight of Ren Feng.
"Over here," Liou Rui waved warmly, her gesture so friendly that outsiders might mistake them for a couple.
Ren Feng was surprised. Although he had just t Liou Rui yesterday, he didn't think they were close enough for such familiarity.
"Didn't we say eight thirty? Why are you only here now?" Liou Rui's warm and enthusiastic deanor made Zhou Shaoyu even more jealous.
"Left ho late," Ren Feng smiled, making up a casual excuse. Then, he slightly parted his lips and whispered, "What are you doing?"
Who is this guy?
Zhou Shaoyu's eyes scanned Ren Feng, feeling even more disdainful, seeing his clothes looked like they ca from cheap street vendors, wondering where he had popped out from.
Ren Feng wasn't particular about clothing, and if he knew what Zhou Shaoyu was thinking, he might laugh out loud. Would he lack money? Just one A-level mission paid in tens of millions of US dollars, would he really lack money? What a joke.
Liou Rui stepped forward and whispered softly, "Help out."
Her voice was so low that only Ren Feng could hear it.
Ren Feng glanced at Zhou Shaoyu, noticing his eyes filled with anger and hostility, and imdiately understood.
So she wants to use as a shield?
"Rui, who's he?"
Zhou Shaoyu was infuriated seeing how close Liou Rui was acting: this bastard, does he think he can just casually approach my goddess?
"Shaoyu, just an ordinary friend," Liou Rui smiled, "I'm truly sorry. I planned to shop with him, so I can't keep you company."
Zhou Shaoyu looked at Ren Feng with a sneer on his face, "Rui, is this kind of person worthy of standing beside you?"
Ren Feng raised his eyebrows. Damn, he's picking on now?
Even if I'm being used as a shield, that doesn't an I'm a pushover.
Ren Feng's lips curled into a slight smile as he looked at Zhou Shaoyu, "Oh? Who are you supposed to be?"
"What did you say?" Zhou Shaoyu was startled, but then quickly beca furious, daring to speak to like that?
"Sorry, I didn't know you were deaf. Let say it again," Ren Feng smiled, "Who are you supposed to be?"
Zhou Shaoyu's face instantly turned beet red, pointing at Ren Feng in a trembling rage, "You, you!"
Liou Rui was also unprepared for the situation to escalate like this and hurried to say, "Shaoyu, he's always been straightforward, don't take it to heart."
After saying that, Liou Rui secretly reached out and pinched Ren Feng's waist.
"Don't mind?" Zhou Shaoyu sneered, "Rui, I really can't understand how you could associate with such scum. Just look at him, what part of him can match up to ?"
Liou Rui's eyebrows furrowed slightly, but then she smiled charmingly, "Mr. Zhou, there's no need to take it out on him. How about this, I'll treat you to a al this Saturday as an apology on his behalf, what do you say?"
"No." Zhou Shaoyu refused, then stared at Ren Feng, "I'm giving you two choices now. The first is to apologize to and get lost—Rui isn't soone you can accompany. The second is to have your legs broken and fed to the dogs. You'll disappear from this world forever!"
After speaking, a fierce look flashed in Zhou Shaoyu's eyes!
At this mont, Zhou Shaoyu and Ren Feng stood at an impasse, with passersby gathering to watch, as everyone loves a good spectacle.
"Are those two actually going to fight over the sa girl?" a bystander speculated.
"Quite possible. Look at that woman, she's stunningly beautiful!" Another person's gaze rested on Liou Rui, swallowing hard.
Tacit agreent could be seen in the others' expressions, but just then, a man in a suit exclaid, "I'm not seeing things, am I? That's actually Mr. Zhou?"
"Mr. Zhou?" The people nearby suddenly beca curious, turning to the man who just spoke.
The man looked at Zhou Shaoyu with a trace of fear in his eyes, "I once saw this Mr. Zhou at a banquet. He's close to ng Jianghai, and anyone who opposes him hardly cos to a good end. Several people have vanished without a trace!"
Upon hearing this, the others gasped, "No way, does he dare to kill?"
"The world of those rich kids is nothing like ours. Killing is routine for them," the man shook his head, "I just don't know who this guy is, daring to oppose Mr. Zhou. This guy is dood."
Hearing this, the surrounding onlookers began to cast sympathetic glances at Ren Feng.
Of all people to provoke, could he have found none worse than Zhou Shaoyu? Competing with Zhou Shaoyu for a woman?
