Just as Mo Yuqi was feeling hopeless, suddenly, a loud noise erupted.
Bang!
The entire door was blasted open, and a figure walked straight in.
Mo Yuqi was stunned, and the middle-aged man was also taken aback, but as soon as he recovered, he aid to imdiately control Mo Yuqi.
Ren Feng's eyes flashed with cold light, his right hand stretched out, and the terrifying True Qi burst forth. In an instant, the man was directly suspended in the air.
What is going on?
Panic flashed in the man's eyes, as if soone was strangling his neck.
With a flick of Ren Feng's right hand, the man was tossed aside.
Mo Yuqi stared blankly at Ren Feng, and then, she felt as if she had been taken from hell to heaven.
She originally thought she was done for, but unexpectedly, Ren Feng saved her from hell once again.
"Cough, cough!"
The man gasped, climbing from the ground, looking at Ren Feng with a face full of caution.
"Who are you?"
"That's the question I should be asking you."
Ren Feng said flatly, grabbing the handcuffs that restrained Mo Yuqi with his right hand and clicking them apart instantly.
This scene made the man's eyes almost pop out.
That's iron, for fuck's sake, not wood, and you just break it like it's nothing?
The man was truly shocked beyond asure, and Mo Yuqi was imasurably aggrieved. Once released, she plunged directly into Ren Feng's arms, crying woefully.
"It's okay now, it's all right."
Ren Feng gently stroked Mo Yuqi's back. After all, she's just a girl. Even though she's a celebrity, she's only 21 years old. How could she have seen so much?
The man wanted to run but saw Ren Feng looking at him, so terrified, he dared not move. Ren Feng's terrifying strength earlier made him deeply apprehensive.
"Alright, let handle this first."
"Okay."
Mo Yuqi hid behind Ren Feng.
Ren Feng was a bit helpless, but there was nothing else he could do.
"Are you the one who sent the letter?" Ren Feng asked indifferently.
The middle-aged man felt so fear. He hesitated whether to speak, but seeing Ren Feng's unfriendly gaze, he imdiately behaved: "It was ."
"What's your na?"
"Chang Sheng."
Ren Feng glanced at the table nearby and asked plainly, "Why did you capture Mo Yuqi?"
Seizing the mont when Ren Feng wasn't paying attention, Chang Sheng sneakily glanced at a gun stashed to the side and quietly shifted toward it.
"Soone paid ," Chang Sheng answered crisply.
"To take a life?"
"No." Chang Sheng hesitated, "The other party wanted to ruin Mo Yuqi's reputation. I didn't want her life."
"Throwing feces was just a prelude?" Ren Feng asked calmly.
Chang Sheng was sowhat silent.
"Tell , why did the person throwing feces insist on admitting his own involvent?"
"I threatened him; if he didn't confess, I'd kill his wife and daughter."
"You're quite ruthless." Ren Feng's eyes seed to hold a smile.
"Those were just verbal threats." Chang Sheng shook his head repeatedly, "And then I gave him so money."
Ren Feng squinted his eyes with a smile: "Who's instructing you?"
Chang Sheng hesitated. Betraying his employer ant ruining his reputation, but if he didn't speak, the devil in front of him might leave him dead with no place to be buried.
"Qiu Gaoyi."
Ren Feng turned to look at Mo Yuqi, who was still clutching his shirt with fear written all over her little face.
"Do you know Qiu Gaoyi?"
"Yes, I know him," Mo Yuqi nodded.
"Have you had a conflict with him?"
Mo Yuqi thought for a mont, then said, "Yes, about two months ago when I was filming 'Great Yan Chronicles,' he wasn't serious about the role, so I told the director, and the director kicked him out of the crew."
Ren Feng looked at Chang Sheng again: "So Qiu Gaoyi instructed you to buy him, and you then directed the previous person?"
"Yes."
"Is Qiu Gaoyi in Jiangnan City?"
"Yes," Chang Sheng didn't dare hesitate. "They all live in Jiangnan City."
Ren Feng asked no more questions. The room fell silent, and Chang Sheng was a bit nervous, watching Ren Feng make a phone call.
"Lone Wolf, I have sothing for you to do," Ren Feng said quietly, "Go bring Qiu Gaoyi here, don't let anyone else notice."
After a few words, Ren Feng added, "Send a few people to house number 31 on Wangtong Road."
Hanging up the phone, Ren Feng looked at Chang Sheng, who was leaning against the wall, and asked calmly, "If I hadn't co, how were you planning to deal with Mo Yuqi?"
Mo Yuqi was a bit nervous, her hands still gripping Ren Feng's shirt.
Chang Sheng hesitated, but under Ren Feng's gaze, he could only say: "I would have fild her *** and posted her ** online, that's what Qiu Gaoyi demanded."
"You're lying to ."
Ren Feng's squinted eyes held a smile, yet it seed chilling.
"These things aren't as simple as filming ***."
Ren Feng turned to pick up a prop, but suddenly, behind him, Mo Yuqi exclaid, "Be careful!"
At that mont, when Ren Feng turned his head, Chang Sheng grabbed the gun hidden beside him and aid it at Ren Feng.
There was a trace of coldness on his face, but the next second, he felt a pain in his wrist, and the gun slipped from his hand.
Ren Feng was holding a whip, which gently coiled, and the gun was drawn back.
At that mont, fear surged in Chang Sheng's heart. His hand couldn't stop trembling; the man in front of him was terrifyingly strong.
"I know your plan, but next ti you'll need to switch positions."
Ren Feng spoke blandly, but suddenly, the whip in his hand lashed fiercely at Chang Sheng's face, where blood began to trickle.
Tossing the whip away, Ren Feng stroked Mo Yuqi.
"It's okay now."
"Hmm."
Mo Yuqi was still trembling in Ren Feng's arms. What happened tonight was apocalyptic for her. Hearts are unpredictable, particularly in the entertainnt circle, where just a small incident can make soone seek revenge.
Ren Feng checked the ti and then left with Mo Yuqi.
Chang Sheng found it strange; the other party just let him go like that?
Though puzzled, he moved quickly, running straight toward the exit. But as soon as he reached the door, soone kicked him directly in the chest.
Bam!
He fell to the ground once more.
Several Wind Gang mbers walked in.
"You, what do you want?"
The four Wind Gang mbers sneered, imdiately subduing and tying him up, then brought out those props.
Fear erged in Chang Sheng's eyes.
"Feng specifically instructed us to have a good ti with you," a burly man sneered, "We must leave you with a profound mory, otherwise we'd be a laughingstock in the Wind Gang."
Chang Sheng could already foresee what would happen; fear filled his eyes as he shook his head wildly.
"No, don't, ah!"
In this room, Chang Sheng's screams echoed, and he felt as if his rear were about to split open.
