"Of course not," Lawrence smiled faintly, clearly in a good mood, "Mr. Tang Long, your gambling skills are worthy of respect. I'd like to be your friend."
"That's great. I think there's a good chance I'll make it over," Ren Feng said with a smile, raising his glass, "Besides, Young Master Lawrence, since we're friends now, shouldn't we have a drink?"
"Naturally."
Lawrence raised his glass, Long Yue also raised his, and the three clinked glasses.
...
After breakfast, Ren Feng and Long Yue ca out.
"Did he suspect us?" Long Yue asked cautiously.
"Do you think I slipped up just now?"
"No."
"Then there's no suspicion." Ren Feng smiled, looking ahead, nodding in response to so gamblers who greeted them while passing by on the deck.
"You're not really going to their family gathering, are you?"
"I'm not stupid. Their family head has seen my face on video before. Going there would be suicide, wouldn't it?" Ren Feng said with a smile.
Their conversation was in hushed tones, walking as they talked, arriving on the deck.
The blue waves shimred, and seagulls circled above in the sky, the scenery indeed beautiful.
"Relax, they probably won't suspect us. Our performance was fine." Ren Feng leaned against the ship, hands resting on the railing, smiling at Long Yue.
Long Yue nodded.
"Yueyue, give us a smile. Don't be so stiff, co on, smile a bit."
"Get lost." Long Yue said blandly.
"According to the schedule, the cruise will reach New York tonight, so we're quite safe for now," Ren Feng said with a smile, "If you want, we can discuss life, including ideals, positions, and postures."
"I don't want to talk to you." Long Yue said blandly.
"Then let's talk about you," Ren Feng moved closer.
"Talk about ?" Long Yue looked a bit puzzled.
"Yeah, I'm actually quite curious about you, let's talk about your situation in the Dragon Group. I'm really interested in getting to know you. Are you so cold in the Dragon Group that no one chases you?" Ren Feng asked curiously.
Long Yue said blandly, "Change the topic."
"Co on, we're battle partners, you know. We've been through thick and thin together, um, don't look at like that, I an we've been on the ship together."
Long Yue ignored Ren Feng, gazing into the distance.
"Why did Lawrence invite you?" Long Yue asked with a frown.
"Don't overthink it, it's because of my charisma. Even if he's handso, he has to keep his distance from ." Ren Feng said cheekily.
Long Yue glared at Ren Feng, this guy really knows how to flatter himself.
"Did you get the identification sorted out?" Long Yue asked.
"Black Dragon and the others handled it long ago. Now we're quite far from the coastline, so we can't get any signals. Don't worry," Ren Feng said with a smile, "Even though he talks unreliably, his technical skills are top-notch."
Long Yue nodded, still showing so concern in her eyes.
Ti passed quickly. Fei She also didn't monitor Ren Feng and Long Yue. By the evening, the cruise ship was nearing New York.
Flying from xico City to New York takes about six hours, and the cruise has been drifting on the sea for almost twenty-four hours now.
The cruise gradually docked. Long Yue was already holding her bag, ready to change her clothes as soon as she got off the ship.
The cruise docked, and Ren Feng wore an unknown trench coat over his suit, with a hat, looking very gentlemanly.
rging into the crowd, Ren Feng and Long Yue got off the ship and headed toward the exit.
At the customs checkpoint, there were only routine customs officers, not like other airports with many U.S. soldiers on high alert.
It was Ren Feng and Long Yue's turn, they handed over their identification and passports.
The customs officer checked them but frowned.
"Please wait a mont, your identity needs to be verified."
"No problem," Ren Feng said with a smile, while Long Yue felt a bit nervous inside.
Not long after, the verification was completed without any issues, but the customs officer still felt sothing was off, as if he had seen Ren Feng's face sowhere before.
He looked at Ren Feng suspiciously, Long Yue quietly nudged Ren Feng.
"Mr. Tang Long, is there any trouble?"
Just then, in a nearby VIP lane, Lawrence, Fei She, and a few others stood there, smiling at them, with Fei She staring intently at Ren Feng.
"Of course not," Ren Feng turned and said with a smile, then told the customs officer, "You should return my docunts to ."
As Ren Feng spoke, keeping a smile, his eyes subtly flickered with True Qi, making the customs officer feel dizzy, unknowingly handing back the docunts.
"Thank you."
Ren Feng smiled faintly, then said to Lawrence, "See, it's resolved."
Lawrence smiled faintly, Fei She shifted his gaze.
Ren Feng and Long Yue walked out of the checkpoint and hailed a taxi.
Only then did Long Yue's anxiety ease a bit.
"Lower Manhattan, Chinatown," Long Yue said.
The driver listened and drove straight to the Manhattan District.
"Eliza, have you thought about how you want to travel?" Ren Feng asked with a smile.
"Yes, the route is all planned out," Long Yue replied.
For cautionary reasons, the two only spoke in Huaxia Language when no one was around.
An hour later, they arrived in the Manhattan District. Ren Feng and Long Yue got off the car and first found a hotel to change clothes.
"How do you contact your people?" Ren Feng asked.
"There's a most secretive base, it won't be demolished even if they leave, and they'll leave information there." Long Yue said.
"Go now?"
"Yes, it's nightti now, less risk of getting exposed," Long Yue said seriously.
Ren Feng nodded, following Long Yue out of the hotel and straight to Chinatown.
By this ti, it was already late at night, even bustling Chinatown was incredibly quiet, Long Yue had an address on her phone. She took Ren Feng, searching based on this address.
"Here it is."
Long Yue stopped in front of a regular storefront, then knocked three tis, paused slightly, and knocked three more tis.
But no one opened the door.
"Let handle it."
Ren Feng spoke up, stepping forward, injecting True Qi into the keyhole, and popped the door open.
The two walked in, closed the door, seeing the empty surroundings, Long Yue felt her heart sink.
